Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Flash

This movie was a blast. I loved seeing my favorite super hero in LEGO form, which were my favorite toys growing up. I absolutely love how the movie tries to be somewhat dramatic and complex, while still obviously being directed towards kids. This movie is likely to show really young kids why all of us fell in in love with this character to begin with. Only reason I am giving It a 7 is because I obviously can't take It very seriously as It is for kids. Also, why does Dr. Fate sound EXACTLY like the principle from American Dad?

I sat down to watch this LEGO animated movie with my then seven year old son, whom immensely enjoyed it. And I must admit that this was definitely one of the better LEGO superhero animated movies that I have watched with him.

Why? Well, because the story was actually appealing to more than just children.

The dialogue was good and the storyline was good. And it did of course have good animation, and lots of attention to detail as there always are in these LEGO animated movies.

They also had some nicely talented performers for the voice acting. And that is quite important for an animated movie. Without spirited and committed performers, the voice acting is just stale and the movie suffers from that.

Definitely worth watching if you have a love for these LEGO animated movies.

The Joker is making everybody laugh. Justice League is called. Everybody shows up except The Flash. He keeps stopping to help the people. He's not that helpful, but it all works out in the end. He wakes up next morning and everything is happening again. The Flash is able to get there faster and fix it better. It's all the Reverse Flash. Flash meets Doctor Fate who tells him about the Speed Force.

This is Lego superhero on the lighter side more than the already light usual touch. The Speed Force has always been a bit of a loopy concept. None of this matters. One has to take this sarcastically. Even then, this wears out its welcome eventually.

This film has Flash as the protagonist and this film insists on exhibiting him as the buffoon of the group. Apart from this, the rest of the superheroes demonstrate their incapacity against much less powerful villains, which raises doubts about their individual and group efficacy. Flash faces a space-time challenge and will finally be able to overcome his great problems and make it easier for good to triumph. The film manages to suggest science as something attractive to children and also facilitates a series of humorous and pleasant moments that make this film recommended for the whole family.

Heavily featuring the Justice League, this fun little meta adventure follows Flash on a journey of self discovery. Silly, sassy, with all your favourite voice actors and all the self-aware nods Lego usually brings. Lots of familiar DC faces and places, it's no Citizen Kane but it's a ball.
