Prasanna's father wants him to get married to Priya their family friend. Since childhood he wanted to marry his school sweet heart Sandhya . Unknown to him she had died very shortly . He is still not aware of this and keeps trying to meet her . He has a school group pic . He goes to the local photographer to enlarge the image using graphics to see how she looks now .

The photographer has his own motives to show the picture of a girl like Sandhya . This Sandhya is actually a social worker and is about to go aboard to study . The photographer who is her silent lover wants to stop her .

Innocently Prasanna believes that this girl is indeed his old Sandhya . Meanwhile he keeps thwarting his family friend Priya's advances . Sandhya is unable to understand who and why this Prasanna is following her .

The parallel comedy track of Vadivelu is very loud . Nirosha and SV Shekhar as Priya's uncle and TV addicted aunty invoke some laughs . This three some keep crossing each others' paths .To add to the confusion Priya and Sandhya also realise that they had studied together . Both do not know about Prasanna and keep encouraging and praying for each other's love to succeed .

Finally his friends tell him the truth about Sandhya . Heartbroken , he realises that Priya indeed loves him. He settles down with Priya as their families wish. Both the female cast are very simple without much make up .

A soft romantic movie without much heavy songs or drama .
