Fun but too complex
Very good game, although not incredible
It's entertaining, although I found it somewhat simple, but you still have a good time playing. It's true that compared to other Mortal Kombat games, it's a bit slow, but not by much.
Something that did disappoint me is the very limited variety of special combos for the characters. I noticed this more when playing the story mode with the previous versions of the characters, who had many more special combos.
The aspects are undoubtedly what I liked the least. I feel they were very simple. My favorite character is Liu Kang, and when I saw that zombie aspect, I almost didn't want to play with him. I also like Scorpion a lot, but I don't like the aspect without the mask at all, the same goes for Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, and Kitana, although this is compensated by the great graphics.
Unfortunately, I don't have PlayStation Plus to play online mode.
27 years later, still the best fighting game made in America...
Yet another solid entry
Disappointing

- AnecdotesMortal Kombat 11 features Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa reprising his role as Shang Tsung as portrayed in the 1995 film based on the series.
However, Tagawa was not cast in the role until later in the game's development cycle. Because the character would feature not only Tagawa's voice acting talents, but also his physical likeness, several changes had to be made to the game. Shang Tsung was removed from the main roster of fighters so that he could later be added as a DLC (Downloadable Content) character with the updated likeness. This also caused a significant portion of the game's story to be altered, and Shang Tsung's part in the plot was removed.
- GaffesIn Chapter 11 of Story Mode, Hanzo Hasashi can be seen far off in the background fighting Kronika's forces on board one of the boats in some scenes. Hanzo died in chapter 10, and it should have instead been Scorpion that was seen fighting.

Sonya Blade: None of us saw Kronika coming. Not even Raiden. But with the Hourglass, I can see every terror in the realms. Any sane person would run sreaming at the sight of them. It's my duty to take out these ancient, all-powerful beings. But to do that, I need an elite squad of immortal gods. Turns out to make a new god, you've gotta destroy an old one. So I hunt the oldest I can find, an omni-deity from a forgotten, unpronouncably-named realm. It's the fight of my life. But I've got something this god doesn't: family. In my past, these were the people who mattered most. Now, they're my God Squad. My daughter. My brother-in-arms. My god-daughter. Yep. Even Johnny. But only because Cassie insisted. And maybe I missed him a little. Just don't let him know that.
