Funny and warm hearted movie dealing with Alonso (José Sacristán) who has some neighbors who don't leave him alone because they don't stop celebrating parties. Gunilla (Nadiuska) is a Danish Marxist/hippy who has just settled temporarily together with her friends in the flat next to Alonso's. During a police raid hides in Alonso's house. He asks him not to expose her and to keep her hidden in his house for a time, until his friends get out of prison, to which Alonso agrees . Days go by and the shy bachelor gradually loses his shyness, and while she remains, the two fall in love , until he finally has sex with the Danish, even go so far as to have a child. One day Gunilla's friends get out of jail and she goes with them to Ibiza - to appear nine months later in Alonso's laboratory about to give birth to a son who undoubtedly belongs to both of them, which he surprises when he returns home from work. What Alonso does not expect is that Gunilla intends to leave Alonso the baby as soon as he is born and then leave again. As his life is changed forever when on one particular day a baby infant is born. The bachelor is now forced unexpectedly to become father.
A likable comedy about the typical issue about a single father who has to take care of a baby . Concerning a very dirty and noisy people who are soon evicted by the police and imprisoned at the request of the neighborhood , but the beautiful hippy Gunilla manages to escape and hides in Alonso's apartment, developing a loving relation and resulting in birth a baby, whom Alonso will have to take care of on his own after Gunilla leaves him alone .The unlikely single man must learn to juggle the demands of baby care with his job and social lives. It's really fun to watch him in all the stereotypical hilarious circumstances of diapering and baby tending. The man's paternal instincts come into play and the bachelor grows quite attached to the little tyke. This film develops a premise that some years later would have a big succes with ¨ 3 hommes et un couffin¨(1985) by Coline Serrau and the American version ¨3 Men and a Baby¨ (1987) by Leonard Nimoy and 3 ¨Men and a Little Lady¨ (1990) by Emile Ardolino. The script was decent, the pacing was snappy, the story while predictable was entertaining and there were some funny sight gags and situations. The direction was neat, and the acting was acceptable . Stars José Sacristán giving a fine acting as a shy bachelor who works as a perfumer in a laboratory. And Nadiuska is quite appealing as the free-spirited hippy. They're well accompanied by a good cast with full of popular and familiar faces , such as : Antonio Ferrandis, Laly Soldevila, Florinda Chico, Julio Riscal, Francisco Algora , Margarita Calahorra, Goyo Lebrero, María Isbert , Álvaro de Luna, Manuel Guitián, Blaki, among others .
Professionally directed by Javier Aguirre this is a generally light, mindless, and entertaining movie that shows how these a bachelor is won over by little baby . Javier Aguirre's direction adeptly keeps the entertainment and comedy afloat and it comes thick and fast, while the script has plenty of fun and engaging moments. Being amusingly made by this prolific filmmaker Javier Aguirre (his big hits were El Astronauta , El Jorobado De La Morgue , Monja Alférez) . Javier was a craftsman , expert on comedies such as : ¨El Astronauta¨, ¨Los Que Tocan El Piano¨ , ¨Locuras De Parchis¨ , ¨Los Chicos Con Las Chicas¨, ¨Soltero Y Padre En la Vida¨, ¨Soltera Y Madre En La Vida¨, ¨Rocky Carambola¨, ¨Martes Y Trece¨. Aguirre also made quite a few terror , frightening movies , such as : ¨Gran Amor Conde Drácula¨, ¨Jorobado De La Morgue¨, ¨Vida Perra¨, ¨Asesino Está En Sus Trece¨. In addition , he directed various ¨Avant Garde¨ films . Here Aguirre carries out a decent , nimble and professional direction , though including some flaws and gaps . Rating : 5.5/10.
