Movies like this are one reason I like to take a chance on foreign films I've never heard of-- this Argentinian serial killer film ranks right up there with the best of them. Victor is a respectable married man who, every Wednesday, brutally assaults and kills a woman for dressing too provocatively. His "calling card", though not graphically shown, is not for the squeamish viewer. After one such killing, he meets a second man in a coffee shop, and they begin to trade stories of sexual conquests. This second man, who earns his living as a clown entertaining children, soon invites him to his house for sex with a female friend. Meanwhile, Victor's wife and secretary discover what they think is evidence of his infidelities. A sub-plot involving a newspaper reporter comes to a horrifying end. And this is about all I can say without spoiling some of the several surprises at the end of the film, though I will say the final line is satisfyingly chilling. All in all, an intricately-plotted film with well-drawn characters, whose grainy look only adds to the realism of its horrific details.

This movie was great!! So much to discuss afterwards, and it's a real thinker/puzzler. If you love murder mysteries and enjoy psychological thrillers, you have to love this movie. I give it a 10/10, despite any flaws it may have. This movie was excellent, it was great, I loved it. It has an authentic feel to it and I just love the whole storyline. I consider this a masterpiece. A few sex scenes here and there, maybe some filthy language, nothing that should really stop you from seeing it :P. I loved this movie, I really did. It has a nice twist and flows very smoothly.

Secretos Compartidos (Shared Secrets) is full of suspense, intrigue, and many hidden secrets to spice up the screen. Brian de Palma's movie "Blow out" meets "Jack The Ripper". The movie is based on the book called " The fisher and the Clown" by Leandro Siciliano, one of the screenwriters. The movie starts right away with the first killing of a woman been followed from the supermarket to her house.The serial killer Vicente Duarte (Victor Laplace- Best actor at the Havana Film Festival)is obsessed with women behavior and he is disturbed by how they dress on a daily basis and show some of their body parts in public. The characters are real, in a real city (Buenos Aires), with real feelings, surrounded by real situations. In Argentina is very normal to show some skin and dress very aggressive. It's part of their life. the killer(the fisher) decides to go hunting for girls on every Wednesday and one day meets another men (the clown)who shares the experiences of how to pick up girls. Obviously, the killer tells his killing stories as if going out on a real date. The pace of the film is good, the special effects are nicely done and the music for the film is excellent. A must see film if you like movies from Argentina and Latin American movies in general. Just don't watch it on a Wednesday, OK.
