King Ahasuerus promoted Haman's popularity, after Esther was picked as the Babylonian queen, replacing Vashti, not before. Her Jewish name is Hadassah and Esther is her Babylonian name. Evidence: Holy Bible, Old Testament book, Esther, Chapters 2 and 3.
Mordechai tells Hadessa "Never forget you are a Jew... except in the silence of your heart!"
Two things wrong with this.
First, the first in the Bible actually says that Modecai tells Esther "Do not reveal your people or your kindred..."
Which brings up the second point. As scripted the line is complete nonsense. She's not supposed to forget she's a Jew except in her heart she's supposed to forget she's a Jew. Silly at best.
Nonsensical line.
