Typical of the nonsense, movie opens with Terri DIver putting a VHS tape of Gere's first "Realities" video on her TV to watch with partner Steve Hatcher, then writing Gere a fan letter, and Gere supposedly shows up to surprise Steve on his birthday, a fantasy fulfilled. Hatcher gets credited under that name as well as Jake WIlliams, his alternate monicker, in both opening and ending credits.
