WCW: Backstage Assault

I know this WCW game has had very negative reviews. But I actually enjoy the game. I loved the retro side of being able to play all my favourite wrestlers from WCW, including Goldberg, Sting, Sid, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T etc. I love the truck arena and you can use various weapons throughout. You can do ariel stunts which sometimes you can execute and sometimes not. I think for what it is, WCW Backstage Assault you can have good few hours to play on it. I think their a hardcore challenge to unlock superstars and various other things. If anything enjoy the gameplay and the retro side.

WCW: Backstage Assault is nothing but backstage assault.

This is the first wrestling game that have you fighting outside the wrestling ring. Then again what was EA Sports Thinking?

EA should have keep the ring and yet, there ain't no wrestling ring at all in WCW: Backstage Assault.

I brought the game awhile back, well it really is without question the worst wrestling video game ever made.

It's just one of those games that I wish I never played or brought for that matter

WCW: Backstage Assault has weapons in the game like trash cans, steel pipes, baseball bats, and of course the steel chairs. But the game is so boring that is not funny.

The Game has very bad graphics the wrestlers look like bad CGI puppets and the levels are really awful

If you're an wrestling fan or an true WCW fan, then you need to get WCW/NWO Revenge or WCW Mayhem just avoid WCW Backstage Assault at all cost. This game will hurt your love for Wrestling Video Games Trust me

Also, if you're looking for more wrestling games, then I recommend checking WWF WAR ZONE, WCW Mayhem WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF Smackdown.

Just an awful game and that is no joke

This game is the worst wrestling game I've played since WCW Thunder. Really bad collision detection, slow clunky controls, and horrible character models( Don't believe me? Check out Hulk Hogan or Major Gunns... SAD!) flush this game down the proverbial crapper. Not only is WCW second rate on television, now they have the dubious honor of being second rate ( maybe even third rate! ) on the home video game consoles. Don't even waste your time renting this one, even if you're a WCW fan. Get WWF smackdown 2 instead.
