Karthik is not in form in this movie . Sagging cheeks , eye bags , dull frame ... He is a simpleton and a kind hearted small time thief who is in and out of the local jail. A quite jailed friend tells him that his niece the heroine is in trouble as her paternal uncle has taken over all her property. When Karthik gets out , he tries to save her but the villain Anand Raj and his henchmen have their own plans . Karthik then kidnaps her for her own safety . Towards the end, she sees through their game and joins hands with Karthik to fight them . A lot of fights and a few dream duets later all becomes well. The heroine has big pretty eyes and looks nice and traditional in homely sarees . The role is nothing new to Karthik. He jumps , sings, dances , plays , fights very well. The story is dragged on for too long in many places .
