Well, Violet went from underacting (in Evil On Queen Street) to portraying the twin sisters perfectly. I don't what made her do this, whether it had something to do with Matt Spease's more assured directing, or something else. But I'm glad to see that she truly can act, as opposed to just being there. Her Trish was the most interesting character of them all. Matt as Mitch sits back on the sidelines for the most part and lets Brian Ramme as Garris play the hero. Brian has a natural look and dialect for this role and it fit very well. Erin Matejko is one hated bitch in this film as reporter Kris Chandler, no characters in the film seem to like her at all, a major testament to Erin as an actress. Amber Simmons is a pretty girl, but her acting was only so-so. Robin Lawrence on the other hand was quite impressive indeed as Michelle. Future Leatherface, Jason, and The Demon E.H. Jenkins was very cute in his role of the annoying brat next door Wesley, when you get older look me up ;) Isaak Partlow was funny as hell as Reed, as was already mentioned him and Matt's interrogation scene is priceless. The special effects are great in this film as well (no more CGI gore, thank god) and it made the kill scenes all the more realistic. There alot of great scares in the film as well, the Michael Myers Kill and The Ghostface ones come to mind.

This film (the second from Indy company Dark Night Films) improves on it's predecesser in so many ways. Violet Flame is awesome as Trish and Ellie Richards! She improved so much after Evil On Queen Street, that I was suprised it was even the same actress. She has now cemented herself as a Slasher Queen. The rest of the cast was great as well. Especially Brian Ramme and Matt Spease. The story for this film was exactly what Scream should have been, the killer duplicates the kills from slasher films because they have taken their love of scary movies one step too far. Scream only wishes it could be as original and scary as this film. I recommend this to all slasher fans and gore hounds.

- AnecdotesViolet Flame was originally supposed to play the dual roles of Ellie and Trish from the beginning. Later, Matt Spease cast an actress to play Trish, but once Violet arrived to do her scenes the actress backed out and Violet agreed to play the dual roles anyway.
- GaffesThe length of Mitch Phillips's bleached blonde hair and the visibility of its dark roots varies throughout the duration of the film.
- Autres versionsThe Ultimate Edition DVD contains a version of the film with additional footage of a never before seen character of Coffy Grier (played by Kaisha Johnson). This character is reporter Kris Chandler's newspaper photographer and is also having an affair with Nick Marshall (played by Steve Austin), who's married to Denise (played by Roxanne Long).
