Don't try to see it, its a waste of time and money... i got sleep at 20 minutes of seeing.

My god, how can anyone claim himself as director?, this movie sucks, it has everything to be good and they just send it directly to garbage, what is happening? anyway, slow cuts, slow scene, and bad edition, i don't want to talk anymore, this ochmann needs to be singer or something like that, he is NOT an actor, the only actor in there is Luis Felipe, who is sub used in here. Bye......... Anyway if u see it u will find out what i told you. There is a shooting where at the beginning was 3 girls, in the end there are none. Lots of mistakes. Boring music and bad landscapes, the final just sucks, big time, its like a never ending movie that u want to see it finished at half an hour of the beginning.

    Good Movie, bad Postproduction

The movie is an action story, very typical, without many twists. The acting is good, although the dialog is corny sometimes, but the actors do their best. Paola Nuñez is really good, i wish we could have seen more of her acting. She has everything to work on bigger and better productions. In General a decent movie, but bad editing and audio lessen the effort by the actors. The plot is predictable sometimes, as well as some of the action sequences. The style the director goes for is good, but you can see how it could have been done better.

    Strange and creepy villains...

I don't write for a paper, so I wont give you the plot or even try to summarize it, but I can tell you I didn't expect much from this movie before going into it since I read some of the critics about this movie. I did hear that it still had some style that made it stand out so I decided to check it out and I never regretted it. A very good action movie, with some of the best action scenes filmed yet here in taco-land. A good soundtrack , some funny lines that give the audience an honest laugh and There are also some good actor performances, Luis Felipe Tovar is an amazing actor, though he looks older and more serious than in his previous films Mauricio Ochmann can use some more experience and my absolute favorite is the Diputado. The production is great, considering the ridiculous budget they had compared to any Hollywood production (1.5 mill U.S.)but they pulled out interesting environments, like Chichi's place, the scene when the bad guy with the machine gun hanging from his shoulder opens the door and there is this barrel on fire inside the house looks creepy and you know something bad is about to happen, the villains are strange and creepy. For all, I can say that it was unfairly criticized by the press, but I guess it is easier for that people to do so instead of creating something as complex and well organized as any of the shootouts in this film.

A good film with action never seen before in the Mexican screen

Ver, Oir y Callar is an action movie that breaks the rules in Mexican cinema, the director dared to go in a territory which in México belongs only to foreign films. The action sequences remember those of Sam Peckinpah, Ringo Lam and John Woo, the setting is so well calculated and with such a good cinematography that you wonder why do they make in Mexico always those bad films with lots of cheap nudes and lousy stories. The plot is not necessarily new, with a cop being used by a corrupt congressman whom recruits the services of a professional thief to gain his freedom, but who cares if the whole is interesting and fun to watch. Unfortunately this movie suffered a tide of unfair and misguiding attacks by TV Azteca and associates, the second mayor TV network in México due to their prior problems with Mauricio Ochmann (Danilo) whom worked before for them. The only thing I would change are some scenes at the beginning by shortening them to increase the rhythm of the film, the music is great and also different from what is always used in Mexico. I am glad that this director had the guts to do something daring and fresh for a change.

The best Mexican film I have seen in a very long time

Ver, Oir & Callar is pretty good for what it is, a well made Mexican action thriller that couldn't possibly expect us to believe everything we are seeing on screen and, to be honest, doesn't care that we don't. That attitude is probably all for the best in this case, since it allows the filmmakers to create elaborate action and stunt sequences without having to pay the slightest heed to that fantasy killjoy known as 'credibility.'

This film is far more concerned with attitude and style, with a thief every female youngster would love to meet and the cop's daughter every one of us would like to date, than with the actual story, full with those scenes that have become the stock-in-trade for modern action pictures. The movie is well directed, fairly edited and quite beautifully photographed by cinematographer Lars Herrmann. This is by far the best Mexican film I have seen in a very long time.
