Fantasy

I was a 18 year when I went on this show in 1982 I was one of four people selected for the skydiving fantasy. Had a blast! One of the scariest things I've ever done. I wish I would have bought the video from NBC Burbank back then. Our skydiving video aired for three days in a row. I remember getting phone calls from friends and family asking if that was me on Television lol. I remember my knees shaking when Peter Marshall came up to me in the audience and I had the worst stage fright. Leslie Uggins was so beautiful in person and nice. Peter was nice too I just remember being so excited and nervous. Looking back now I'm glad I did it.

My father passed away in 1969 on my 11th birthday, in Nashville, my Mom made the correct decision to move back to California to be near that side of the family. We ended up in Reno and lost connection with my father's family. I think it was August of 1982 or 83 when my cousin in Nashville contacted Fantasy to tell them of this circumstance. They flew her and my Grandmother from Nashville and me and my brothers from Reno. The surprise was a bingo game that the audience played a part of, Grandma enjoyed that game, as all the family members got the winning numbers they came up on stage. Before to long there were the 5 of us standing next to one another. Grandma had not seen any pictures of us since we left Nashville and had no idea what we looked like. What a surprise for her and all of us. It was a nice experience. I as well would like to see a copy of that episode.

My mom and aunt was on this show, not sure what episode. They meet there sister they never knew they had . Would like to see all of them. Could you get them all on here .Thank you.

I was on "Fantasy" and did a segment with then "Square Pegs" stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Amy Linker that was a loose version of the "Dating Game." I ended up getting chosen as the person to go on a date with Sarah - that's a whole other story. It would be great to get that footage...can anyone help?! Thanks.

I was on Fantasy in 1983. My mother's siblings were reunited after being separated at birth. It was the largest sibling reunion to date on television. I was 15 and in Hollywood was an awesome experience. I wish I could find a tape of the show. The producer of the show called my mother one evening late to tell her that they would be flying the whole family to California for taping and she fainted and dropped the phone. My mother is the oldest in the family and she was so happy to find other brothers and sisters that she had never met. The producers put us up at the Sheraton Universal for the whole week and I had a chance to meet a great many actors during a roast they had in the ballroom for Ron Cey who was traded to the Chicago Cubs. As a guest you could go down to the ball room and mingle.
