I am actually in complete disbelief over these reviews! Bratz is an awesome show, sure it has it's flaws but it's a typical 2000s cartoon! What do you expect? There are CGI glitches and mistakes, the characters are all skinny, it doesn't touch on all of the problems that insecure young girls face, but back then.. that was normal! They just started a new tiktok series called Talkin Bratz with some of the same voice actors and i'm sure that they will touch on things like that now that our society is more "woke" about that kind of stuff. The tiktok series made Dylan darker, to show that he is black so that's a great start, I love how the Bratz represent different ethnicities! The Bratz Pack inspired me as a kid to be who I am, wear what I feel comfortable in and that it is possible to balance school, boys, friendships and so on! This show is my childhood and I will always love it, I don't understand why you would be so hard on it? It's fun.
However, I do agree that Season 1 is way better than Season 2 but I like them both. The original voice actors from season 1 suited the characters more. I think season 2 was done in Vancouver, Canada (where i'm from!!!) because it seems all of the voice actors are from Vancouver so that's pretty cool for me and makes me appreciate it a bit more :) Love this show and even though it's a typical 2000s cartoon, there are still some great messages in it! I would absolutely let my kids watch it.

These big headed girls, make me feel better about my big face. i was bullied throughout my schooling about it and this breathtakingly beautiful piece of work saved me life. brought me back up again when i was falling through snow whites well in a dream i had last night. i love how their feet can come off and i was like yeet. and the animation is just as amazing as foodfight 2012. its my mums favourite film but this show NEVER lets me down. i feel impowered by these young dolls and aspire to be them. this is the really juice out there.

It was a missed opportunity not to make this show in 2D like the 2004 movie "Starrin' & Stylin'." The 2D art was so good! Just keep Yasmin's and Sasha's original skin tones...ya know, unlike the awful whitewashed versions in that movie.
Why? Because this animation is just...yikes. I even felt the show's animation was terrible when I first saw it in the 2000s! That was among the reasons I stopped watching. It's simply too much hair physics! Too much time was spent on the hair and not enough on the faces by the animators. Additionally, a background character and its clone would appear in the same scene, lol.
However, their movies and specials were far funnier and better. Again I believe that this show should have been in 2D, but their movies and specials should have stayed in 3D! It would've been a nice treat seeing our gals in 3D every now and then.
One of the other reasons why I didn't like the show was the whole magazine thing with Burdine. I saw that as an obstacle and find it boring. I was a big Bratz fan when I was younger, but I can't recall the entire magazine situation! Was there something on their website? If it was, was it the inspiration for the show ?! Because that would make total sense, sure I was a huge fan but I was on the Barbie website every day instead of Bratz! Haha!
Usually when it comes to shows (live action or animated) that depict a group of girls, each girl has a distinct personality trait or, to others, a "stereotypical" trope. Like the smart one, the girly one, the sporty one, and the artsy one. I started watching some episodes recently and none of the Bratz truly have a personality trait. The only thing that sets them apart is the nicknames they kept using to refer to one another (which is cringe). On the plus side, though, the Bratz are likeable and driven! And their fashion is great!
~* So now that Bratz is making their comeback, I hope we get a new show! I think it's finally time! If you go to their Instagram account, they'll post clips occasionally (the "Mean Girls" one was hilarious!) with updated animation. And the animation is soooo much better. Yes, I know technology has improved (but still it is so therapeutic after watching this show). And I hope that the new series is more mature as well. They need to rebrand for the older crowd. *kisses* ~

That means riddled with caricatures, clichés and stereotypes. It is NOT a reflection on reality. I can't believe some of the reviews I'm reading. This is a bad influence on young girls? Does Tom and Jerry encourage children to chase mice and whack them with a mallet? Stop being so silly! I'll admit I didn't like the concept of this when it first came out, what can possibly be entertaining watching 4 spoiled rich American girls moan and use snobbish expressions, but now it is 2015 I can look back and laugh. Kids used to dress in really revealing clothing in the 2000s and adults all over were whining about it when they were doing anything wrong.
And I disagree that they are brainless bimbos as other reviewers have said because on the show I watched today titled "Bratz Slumber Party" one of the girls was concerned about her chemistry exam. I think this means the show is actually a positive influence on children, showing them girls who juggle schoolwork, boys and everything else without ditching one for the other.

Bratz is great! It has catchy music and fun concepts. And the voice acting is full of talent!
The second season disappointed me. The stories were dull and the voice acting was okay. I didn't like that they changed the characters so much from the first season.
My favorite episodes were Camping and Crush in a Rush. I loved getting to see Eitan and Yasmin. And the Camping episode with Dylan and Cameron made me laugh so much.
