Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - The Japanese Way

I'm not very picky in most of the films. To me, it's entertainment, thus, as long as I felt interested in it, and have fun watching it alone or with others, I'm contain.

This movie occurs to me as fun and exciting while watching the action sequence; it also surprised me by showing the viewers the ugly side and the consequences behind the underground racing world(ex. Deaths in car accident. Furthermore, the fact that most youngsters do put their lives on the line to race dangerously for stupid reasons such as impressing a girl. Those are the qualities I haven't been able to find in most of the other racing genres which focus heavily and mainly on actions.

(Oh, did I mention their stunts were actually impressive?)

In conclusion, I give this movie a 9/10 because I was impressed with their stunts, the seriousness of consequences, and the effort to improve from its prequel, but most importantly, it was successful to "ENTERTAIN" me and my friends while we are watching the film. After all, to Entertain, that's whats matter about action movies, isn't it? O_<

This short documentary was on the Tokyp Drift DVD and, despite its low rating on IMDb, I found it more interesting than the actual films (which I thought was aimed at boys a lot younger than myself). The topic of the film is more or less the experience of the cast and crew of shooting in Tokyo. It provides some interesting moments and some background to the challenge of the city – most interesting was the lack of permits etc that meant the crew could never totally shut the set while shooting on location in the city itself.

Of course this is not to suggest that it is a great documentary because it is merely a piece of DVD filler. The contributions provide value but it is thinly spread and does feature the stars just promoting the film rather than talking totally honestly. To its credit it isn't padded with clips from the film but rather shots of the scenes being shot and I did actually find it interesting. Alright, not interesting in the "wow" way but more the "oh, OK" sort of way – but that was good enough for the ten minute running time.

Legendary adventure of ex cop into the drifting world.

We see beautiful shots of several interesting and popular Japanese destinations and places (such as the Loop or the mountain highway ) , where underground groups in the real world actually provide their races and skills to the people outside.

Beautiful car shots and straightforward plot as in every movie.

Nothing more to be said rather than: Rest in peace Paul , hope you are drifting in the highways of heaven.

The movie is legendary and perfect for car guys who search to get their mood up. Go for it ,fast....and furious.....................
