I sat through this movie as I was cooking. I cut the meat, onions, ground the spices etc. Then finished cooking, cleaned all the dishes. The movie was on in the background. And the way it was written, it didn't need even 1% of my brain or attention to follow the nonsense that was on show. Horrible movie and a half-baked script. Wonder why Jayaram keeps doing this sort of rubbish movies. The message was good, but the script went all over the place. Overall, a dumb movie.

Disappointed super lag movie. But its contain a good message to all people. still i didn't like the making of this movie. old comedy and "miya's character worst".

'Iyer the great' is the tag line of this work. Good at heart, efficient, non-corrupt, workaholic heath inspector getting posted in the capital city, to clean up the murk in the food industry and system... is the one line story. Jayaram different from his style, is shown as more mature and responsible. Comical interludes are taken care by Dharman and Hareesh. Food materials sold with poisonous substitutes and admixtures, causing problems in personal and social life of the human beings.. is explained well, holding a social message through the movie. First half is purely food based, second half turns into a crime-murder-food mafia thriller. Very predictable, still enjoyable.

6.5 on 10 for a presentation with a social message.

'One person's food can be another person's poison' is the dictum, where the mafia poison your food, for their luxurious lifestyles... You eat that toxin to waste the life. Even top brands in the market is not spared in this movie.

Needed more punch, from the regular sentiments, to drive in the social message.

This movie gives not only a social message but also some good suspenses and comedies.The first half goes with a build up story and a small twist in its interval.The second half has worked in all the portions with suspenses.The intro song are also good.Although, jayaram movies are coming as entertainers nowadays.

This movie should watch everyone . this movie not reveal you the types of fake food materials or chemicals . This gives you the idea of what they can do to the public when you raise a question against those foods .
