Anecdotes
The last tombstone in the video reads: "R.I.P. Ricky." This is a reference to Ricky Nelson, who many accredit (along with his father Ozzie Nelson) with creating the first music video. It aired on April 5th, 1961 at the end of an episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", featuring Ricky performing his hit "Travelin' Man", intercut with travelogue footage. It was an attempt to fit another song into the episode that was unrelated to the story, but could still feature the rising teen idol performing with his fictional band, "The Rooks".
