This felt a little too much like Don Quixote to me. Both the warehouse and the wedding. None of it makes sense except possibly Billie's sentimental attachment to the warehouse. Saving this wedding is hopeless and senseless. Some of the ploys they try are silly. And what's coming is totally predictable.
The only thing that kept me going was Jocelyn Hudon. Billie is fun and energetic. This girl next door, Hudon, is far more than what you see on the surface. But she is not enough to carry the movie. She and Jake Foy have OK chemistry, but again, not enough. Among other things, it's too diluted by other things in the movie.

This movie is better than the similar Ms Matched as the wedding guru is always more focused on sustainability for the wedding items and the if couple's relationship itself really has longevity. I'm not big on weddings but I like how this flick also factors in the health of an older relative along with a cute mini sport scene with the kid - it's far more than just the big day.
The movie was very forced. It seemed as if everyone was rushing from scene to scene. The female lead was good, but the script needed help causing all the actors to appear subpar. I don't know that a better script would help the acting of the male lead. It seems he would be better as a side friend, maybe. He was not at all convincing as a love interest. The clothing choices for the actors lacked as well. Unfortunately, the story was disjointed making large leaps in continuity, skipping over details that would have helped make the story somewhat enjoyable... if a different male lead had been cast.
The light, make-up, camera angles, clothes, colors of everything used, cutting of the scenes, everything looks very amateuristic and off. Makes you realize how much work and talent has been put into other movies where everything is just right but you never realized until you watched this one. I couldn't concentrate on the story but instead watched wrong hairstyles, wrong combinations of clothes, the unflattering way they are worn, almost got my first epilepsy attack from the strange cuts between scenes, bad acting and a mailpart that gave me the creeps because he didn't play an attractive guy but a serialkiller to be. You have to watch this. Find all the wrongs and have fun doing it. Notice the lead male role with two dark pieces of string hanging under his nose, strange shadows, the father with the last button of his vest unbuttoned (which is usually okay but not in this case) and mascara, the weird red hair that looks like a bad paint job. It is fun to watch, just keep pen and paper ready to find everything. I do realize everybody has to learn and that people that want to make movies have to start somewhere. I wish them all good luck and a steep learningcurve. An A+ for the effort and I think you all did your very best.
First reasonable word for define it seems awful. For unrealism, for pathetic scenes, for relation between brothers and family relation in general, for the pink sweater of a red hair guy, for the end . Less for dog.
In fact, it is only a illustration , from many others, of Hallmark recipe. Not innovations, same solution for old building, same happy final and , more absurd, maybe, tensioned moment.
Silly and absurd in many scenes, it is only a film for fans of genre. The acting... Unfortunatelly, it has not the privilege to can be saved by supporting actors. So, for not use the too subjective awfull, silly film sounds acceptable.
