I'm a huge fan of slice-of-life films, especially when they're based on a true story. From the very beginning, I felt like I was picked up and placed right into Donna's life and what a journey it was. The performances, music, wardrobe, beautiful landscapes - everything seemed so carefully constructed and well thought out. Over the course of the movie, I found myself getting chills multiple times. Domestic violence is never an easy subject matter to cover, but the filmmakers managed to create such a work of art with this film. So happy that this film is shedding light on such a difficult topic, but one that affects so many more than we can even imagine.

DONNA Stronger Than Pretty is one of the finest homages to a mother that not only teaches a lesson, but offers guidance into personal freedom and loving choices. So many women and men can relate to this story. #FindYourVoice #StrongerThanPretty.
