    Best Movie

This is still the best detective conan movie. Nothing will top the DCMK plot We need more movies like this one, we've had enough of those new characters with no depth and lack of uniqueness. The og characters and plots were so well written and intriguing and interesting I miss this peak era of Gosho Aoyama. My only hope now is to see them go back to focus more on DCMK instead of trying to shove their new useless characters down everyone's throats by force.

Most Magical Detective Conan Movie made yet.

Kaitou Kid is back in town, and he's planning to steal a Russian prized egg that once belonged to Nicholas II. It's currently under the ownership of Sonoko Susuki's family. Kogoro Mouri and several other people are put in charge to protect the egg. But that won't stop Kaitou Kid from stealing it. Conan suspects there's more going on as it is. Soon things will seem to go from bad to worse. Once an unknown killer name Scorpion who's known for killing victims in the right eye with a gun shot. Gets involved with this scenario in stealing the egg.

This is so far the most "magical" filled Detective Conan movie made so far. The mystery about the prized egg and the connections it has with the long lost Royal Family of Nicholas II has so much mystical feel to it. It's also the first movie to have Haibara, Kaitou Kid, & Heiji Hattori in it. That and the mystery will keep to guessing all the way to the last minute of it.

It's a must see if you're a fan of the TV series.

A Heist Wrapped in History and Shadows

What happens when a legendary phantom thief collides with a centuries-old mystery tied to royal treasures? The Last Wizard of the Century brings together spectacle, suspense, and historical intrigue in a way that broadens the series' cinematic scope.

This third film in the franchise introduces the ever-popular Kaitou Kid into the theatrical lineup, raising expectations for both style and deception. The story begins with Kid announcing his intent to steal a priceless Fabergé egg, only for the heist to spiral into a chain of murders rooted in imperial history. The narrative cleverly shifts from a flashy caper to a layered whodunit, pushing Conan to balance sharp deduction with personal risk. Unlike its predecessors, the film embraces a more global and historical dimension, linking Russian aristocracy with modern crime, which gives the plot an added sense of weight.

Analytically, the film succeeds in its thematic richness: greed, legacy, and the blurred line between myth and reality. The dynamic between Conan and Kid adds tension and flair, contrasting logic-driven investigation with theatrical illusion. Visually, the film takes advantage of grand European-inspired settings, offering striking contrasts between glittering treasures and the darkness of murder. Yet, the pacing falters at times, as the narrative juggles both spectacle and backstory, occasionally diluting the central mystery's urgency.

Still, the climax delivers a blend of action and revelation, reaffirming Conan's intellect and moral clarity.

Rating: 7/10 - an ambitious mix of history, heist, and homicide that enriches Conan's cinematic universe while keeping audiences engaged through suspense and style.

    Last Wizard

Last Wizard of The Century is a well-produced detective movie that features a well-crafted mystery element. The plot is decent and balances the story, with historical value and well-done plot settings. The movie is easily accessible and is a perfect example of enjoying the series without watching all Meitantei Conan episodes. Although the animation is quite old compared to our era, it is generally decent and the sound settings are also decent. The main cast, including Kaitou Kid as the omniscient and overpowered character and Conan as the analytical and smart hero, perform well in their roles. Overall, Last Wizard of The Century is recommended for fans of Meitantei Conan and those who enjoy detective and mystery settings.

This marks the first appearance of Ai Haibara, as Vi Graythorn in the English Dub. Oddly, she was never introduced in the English dub due to Funimation canceling the dub only a few episodes short of her debut. Weirdly, she appeared in the movie, but for English only viewers, people questioned who she was because she was never introduced before.
