I think the people who made this film saw an episode of Black Mirror and thought they can make something similar.
2/10, the first bit was a little bit interesting but then it was just so bad I had to turn it off.

This is like someone put together shorts from Alter or Omeleto, it's pretty good! Antologies are always very hit or miss but all the ones in Source of Shadows were hit for me. Except the second segment which was way too short and supposed to be comedy but it was just stupid. All the rest however, I enjoyed very much- some beatifully shot, some with very good acting, some with interesting and original ideas. I want to go in detail for each one but I want to avoid making spoilers. If you like stuff like Demon(2017) or Field Guide to Evil, Source of Shadows is somewhere in between and I could recommend it.
Horror is my #1 favorite, and anthology films are among my favorite of the genre. Its nice to break away from feature length plots now and then and instead watch a bunch of short ones all packed into roughly the same time frame. All of these shorts are shot nicely, too. The only thing I can say is some are a little hard to follow.
One review on here was saying how this anthology film is like way heavy handed on an LGBT theme, and I have to question if they accidently reviewed the wrong film because I failed to see that, like literally at all... So if for some reason you are reluctant becuase of that, don't let it mislead you. Anyway though, at the end of the day, this is worth a watch if you're into the horror anthologies!
Anyone can write a 5 minutes story, well almost anyone,,,, cause some of these 5 minutes storys was not that well either- but mostly its not that hard to write something that short - so I dont think think this was so good, people who rate this over 6 are not honestly, because this is just a simple anthalogy, fast and short written, nothing new ,,,, some really bad and some little better, but none story is good ,,,,,, but I can give some good points cause of the acting, I think all the acting was good, and I think the production was pretty good aswell, it was only the storys that failed,,,....,
Some are ok but there are a couple that stand out, let's be real it's an antology film, it has it's flaws but if you like short films, like the theater bizarre, xx, ABCs of death, etc you will like this one.
