Reviewers say 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' garners mixed reviews, praising Tatiana Maslany's performance and its unique legal drama-superhero comedy blend. The show's meta humor, fourth-wall breaking, and Marvel character integration are highlighted. Criticisms include inconsistent CGI, lack of action, and uneven humor. Some appreciate its attempt to diversify the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a female-led comedy, while others find it lacking depth and coherence. The series is deemed entertaining yet flawed, with varied viewer opinions.

It's not unwatchable, it's just not good
Look, all the people giving the show 1 star reviews, because of some comment about cat calling in the first episode, don't really get to the heart of the problem. Can we please just get one of the terrible Marvel shows with a straight white male lead, so we can shut up about people hating women or people with dark skin?
The show isn't funny, it's not exciting, it's not emotional, it doesn't seem to have a useful message, so what's left at that point. Are there so many people out there, that can watch a boring unfunny show, just because it so amazing to have a female feminist superhero on screen?
The 4th wall breaking seems completely out of place and isn't used for anything other than repetitive exposition, so it just comes off as cringy.
Tatiana Maslany is a great actress and she's not unlikable in this show, she just doesn't have much to work with. If the best the writers can come up with is a joke about her falling off a chair, then you could have put Meryl Streep in the lead an still not have anything to show for it.
Honestly Marvel, hand the TV shows back to the people who did the Netflix shows. Daredevil, The Punisher and Jessica Jones were very good for the most part, and you're shooting yourself in the foot if you continue to go down the path of the Disney era shows, almost all of which have been mediocre at best.

It's getting worse...
The first episode was fairly weak, especially the writing, but it's unfair to judge a series on a single show. The next two episodes have gotten even worse, with Tim Roth being the only saving grace. The drivel that passes for dialogue is horrible, and I assume they hired the actress who plays Nikki to make every one else seem more competent. She is atrocious!
I've sat through some Marvel garbage (C & D comes to mind), but this may be worse!
I've been trying to find positive attributes because I'm a fan of the genre, but the terrible writing has made that nearly impossible.
Don't forget this bit either; it's not funny for a comedy and the legal aspect is straight out of a children's cartoon.

Do you like a show about nothing where nothing happens?
Like the title says, do you want a show about nothing, where literally nothing happens and just happens to have a slight super hero connection to it? Then boy do I have the show for you.
I like the character from the comics, and actually like the actress playing the role, Im well aware that She-Hulk is not a "super hero" and is known for being comedic and fourth wall breaking, so I ask where is the She-Hulk from the comics. Ive read and heard so many amazing pitches for this show and what it could have been, being a court room show, its actually kind of amazing how bad the writers have failed this show and character. I hope if they get a second season (and I actually would like that) that they get a writing staff that would do this show and character justice.

It's an insult that Marvel calls this a comedy
Marvel Studies proclaims that this is a "sitcom" in all their marketing materials but it is painfully unfunny. The writing is juvenile, the quips and dialogue between the characters is neither witty, clever, or even interesting. Did anyone on the set laugh at this stuff as they were filming It, because if not they should have many adjustments to the script in real-time.
The main character is boring, she goes through no challenges and therefore experiences no character growth worth watching.
These first three 25 minute episodes have been an absolute slog to get though, since I'm often pausing to find myself doing something else.
Awful writing is a real letdown to what is an otherwise interesting character in the comics.

She-Hulk a reasoned and fair review - recommend watching
I've read many of the reviews and the majority of -ones are positioned that She-Hulk is overpowered versus Hulk. This intern seems to make the show unlikable by individuals who have a point of view that Hulk is original and dust the best. The Marvel cinematic universe as well as the DC universe have diverse characters that continue to spin off to bring a new storylines different different points of view. She-Hulk character if you go back to the comics..
She-Hulk like Deadpool breaks the fourth wall making her unique as a character. Additionally going back to the comics she had most of the benefits of the Hulk with few of the downsides. This allowed her to be different and yet still experience different problems as well as some of the same ones Hulk does.
Ultimately, this show is very worth watching. It is entertaining the actors are good. The visuals are good even Marvel poking fun itself is giggle worthy.
Sometimes I think people have forgotten that this is entertainment, and as such do not view it with a more open mind but with one that is hyper critical.
Tatiana Maslany brings human characteristics and humour to this character. Her on Orphan Black was mind blowing, while it is a drama and not perfectly fair to compared to she Hulk I don't think any actor wants to say in a single lane. I love the fact that I got to see this actress stretching new ways, and bring this character to life.
Mark Ruffalo is great as always. He's lived in this character for so long. It presented a natural bridge into opening up a new character into the MCU.
Guest stars abound within this series, and if I had one call point, it would be potentially too many threads/characters were pulled into the first season. Don't get me wrong I love the guest stars good actors are always welcome but for people who may not be deep into Marvel, it may have been a detractor.
The Marvel cinematic universe continues to evolve. It has growing pains as it determines which characters and which properties they will invest in creating content for. We're along for the ride, and overall it's been a great one. I personally vote that we cut them some slack, because who among us is perfect.
I will close this review with the following. To urge you all to judge for yourselves and don't let an averaged rating score be the only thing that dictates what you choose to watch. Read reviews and the logic that they put forth and potentially weigh in more specific reviews rather than generic "I hated it" ratings.
With an open mind and an open heart, I wish you all well.

- AnecdotesAlthough each transformation from Jennifer Walters to She-Hulk and back is created using CGI, Malia Arrayah plays She-Hulk on-set for having reference of She-Hulk size (her face is replaced by the Tatiana Maslany using CGI). Maslany is 5' 4" (1,63 m) tall, while Arrayah is 6' 5¼" (1,96 m) tall.
- GaffesIn two of the first three episodes, in the courtroom they show the defendant seated at the table closest to the jury box. In American courts, the defendant is always seated AWAY from the jury, in the interests of safety. (This gives the bailiff more time to react should the defendant attack the jury.)
- Générique farfeluThe closing credits are a sequence of courtroom sketches, which vary depending on the episode.
