Highway to Heaven

Dont waste your time. The original Highway to Heaven with Michael Landon was so good... such wonderful stories and acting. You CANNOT remake that. This one had a horrible storyline and bad acting. You cant remake the good stuff from the 80s, so why do they even try? If you want to watch Highway to Heaven, go was the ORIGINAL. This show is a slap in the face to Michael Landon.

Jill Scott is a real life angel. Love her! I recommend this movie for a blessing from God. Finally a sweet uplifting movie 2021. ❤❤❤ Grab some popcorn, wine and comfy foods. Enjoy!!!

If you look at the highest scores for this film, you'll notice the reviewers have ONE review in their history. What does that tell you! What we have here is a beloved 80s series that won't fly in 2021. Male lead? No, no, no. White lead? Heaven forbid! In their effort to erase the past, the producers seemed to have forgotten to tell a good story, which is okay because that was never the intention.

If you were a fan of the original Michael Landon series, you will enjoy this one. Jill Scott is the angel sent to earth to assist a young boy and his father. As typical with these movies, yes, the plot can be predictable but with a movie like this, we do not need mind shattering surprises or twists. I personally want a story I can understand and relate to and an ending that gives me hope and faith in God, people and the world in general. Jill Scott is extremely well suited to this role. She channels a feeling and aura that reminds me of Della Reece which is a huge compliment in a faith based movie.

I just don't like it (.) Because the old one was almost like thinking that there are Angels out there and it was the most beautiful feeling ever. So i guess I'm saying that this new one will never Measure up to the old one. Bye.
