The acting of Zubeen Garg is just outstanding although he is known for his music but I must say his acting was damn good. I would like to die to watch another one movie like this. The story,the plot twist,2nd lead character (the dog) all performed extremely well. The future of Assamese cinema is outstanding if these types of movies are created more. Some scenes are better than Hollywood specially fighting scenes. The acting of lead character is just more than perfect.

People say "Nothing" is perfect and I must say this is perfect. Watch it if you don't have time. It is specifically recommended for physically or mentally disturbed people.

Kanchanjangha is one of the best movies I've ever seen from Assamese Film Industry. The story of the movie seems like picked up from real life. Every young person from Assam, who is struggling for a job in goverment sector can relate himself to the character Anirban. The script of the movie could have been better, some scenes could have been improved. Zubeen Garg acted on this movie just like he did in Mon Jaai, which was released on 12th September, 2008. I bet, if u have emotions, u will feel bad for ANIRBAN and u will come out of hall with tears in ur eyes

His contribution towards Assamese music Industry is uncountable. After the huge success of his film "Mission China", he directed & acted in "Kanchanjangha". Kanchanjangha attract all the people of Assam. First time in the history of assam, all the cinema halls are housefull. People become crazy to watch the movie. Great work by directors writers actors and the whole crew. storyline apt for current scenerio of assam. the depiction and detailing work is great. every character every scene is well crafted and well thought. initially d character of the villain's wife was looking irritating and unnecessary but as the movie unfolds it is understandablw that her character is just a depiction of the vaccume of the life who has chosen negativity as the part of life and chosen the Void and emptiness as the better half for life. lyrics of the songs are well written. cinematography very good, location choices very good. great work in assamese movie industry in recent times. one simple suggestion to viewers, stop comparing assamese movies to bollywood amd hollywood movies. its a long road to go and "Kanchanjangha" is surely a big stepping stone for a promising assamese film industry..
