Wow this is what I is called tight knit family drama with a good message in the end . Karthik and Viji are strong contenders here .Both have acted well.

Both get married after a few teasings and bantering as they are working in the same office .

There is a duet between Karthik and his boss Manorama in the comedy track . He is very good as an awkward , bumbling ,clumsy new young husband . Both are sneaking away for romantic duets . They are very much in love and cannot keep away from each other initially . Viji is not used to much family life and is very strict with him and her in laws and manages to separate him from his parents. They move into a bigger house with Venniradai Moorthy as the house owner and a very young Kuyili as his daughter .

Though short in height Kuyili manages to make an impact with her acting and chirpy talking . She is adolescent and wears tight clothes and keeps barging in their bedroom despite being warned by Viji . As usual , Viji one day leaves Karthik and goes to her parents' house in a huff over some silly matter . Kuyili takes over ,cooking pampering Karthik innocently . She manages to take over Viji's place fully .Karthik too gives in after some hesitation and they get intimate. By the time Viji realises her mistake and returns back , Kuyili is pregnant with his child . Moorthy pleads with her to leave them alone so that his daughter can get married to Karthik and lead a happy life as a mother and wife .

A shocked and repentant Viji wishes both of them good luck and moves out .

Viji goes crying to her in laws saying only now she understands how difficult it is to run a house with all members together . Nothing is solved by shouting or authority .

The final message being running away from problems does not solve it .

It's relevant even today . The late 80s till the late 90s totally belonged to Karthik . He's a delight to watch in every frame and role.
