Superb show with excellent dialogue delivery, costume, story which makes you understand the history very well..meanings of terms like Gotra, rashtra, sabha, samiti, Raja, etc..just excellent show..if it were to me, I would make this a must teach material to ALL Indians. There's was a very strong need for such a show on Bharat's history and doordarshan has done a fantastic job with this series. This show will also teach you about the Varna system that we had since Vedic times which Europeans have misrepresented as caste system. This will show you the excellent governance system that we had - all derived from vedas - which had lots and lots of counterbalances and where even a king (Rajan) was elected. It will show you the importance of cows in those times in everything that people did.
