The Furry Fortune

It was a good movie with an original concept. The only reason I didn't score it higher it because I was subconsciously comparing it to the movies I have seen in the past. Such as Old yeller Beethoven the shaggy dia and Benji. It reminded me the time I used to watch The wonderful world of Disney on Sunday afternoon with my family. So that is one of the reasons why I enjoyed it. All in all it is a good movie and I recommend it. It was a joy to see the author of the book in the movie as well. It took me a while to realize that it was her. But I do recommend it for the age ranges that it suggest. Thanks.

The Furry Fortune, based on the popular children's book by D. Goode Morgan, who plays aunt Didi. Is a great film filled with fun and laughter. Based on two twin siblings that are growing apart. And the kids yearn for more quality time with their parents that are constantly working. Eventually, the whole family realizes that they must come together to save Nuzzles, a family dog that sheds money from a malicious next door neighbor. The movie beautifully illustrates value of family over material wealth, showcasing the power of love and forgiveness. In the end, everyone realizes that family is far more important than any amount of money. This is a must see for the whole family!

There was so much fun! There was so much laughter in our house! We wished one of my three dogs would shed money instead of fur as it would be more fun to sweep the floors. Let's all bring out the popcorn, soda and candy. Plan a much deserved fun family movie night. In these messy post-covid days where everyone is so busy, kids are back at school still trying to figure it all out and everyone needing a break from this chaos, this is just what the doctors' ordered. Great family flick (I have a dog that loves to watch animals on television) and we need more like these to watch with our family. Here's hoping we have a sequel!

Well acted fun and funny movie for a family night with popcorn. Some great funny moments by the actors, and whimsical editing to keep this lighthearted. There are scenes and moments we can all relate to, both as kids and parents, and the family interaction is quite relevant to what many of us have experienced. Of course the gobs of money isn't rooted in reality, but the message comes through loud and clear about what's important for family relationships. The characters are well acted and there are some really funny moments. This is a movie meant for light hearted fun, not drama. We all really enjoyed this one.

Hard to find a good G movie lately. This one is cute, fun, magical and has a good message that isn't preached.

Some really good points of laughter. As an adult, watching a kids movie, it's always nice to get a good laugh from something unexpected or just good dialogue. I distinctly remember a good out loud laugh from the girl twin. She reminded me very much of one of our twins. Same age and looks. Her role as a future Harvard student want-to-be is believable. I love her sass. She made it work.

The twins liked it, and do want to watch again, so good flick in my eyes.
