Believers

I actually believe in ghosts. I have seen a ghost. these shows are just getting more and more ridiculous and insulting to those people who actually do believe in the paranormal and have experienced it. The premise of the show is that there is actual proof and footage to turn the viewer also into a believer. However actors are portraying these supposedly real people who are then played by actors in the reenactments with archival footage that is additionally fake. basically this is just all fiction and being made up by some writers somewhere who think these stories will somehow be convincing to the general public. Don't bother. At the beginning of the show it says that the real people were so terrified that their identities were changed and so were the locations. Travel Channel needs to cancel this show and stop trying to make money exploiting those people who have had real ghost experiences.

Paranormal Witness was a show that scared the bejeezus out of me and I watch a fair amount of paranormal related things and not the overly dramatic, poorly done shows but ones that involve everyday ordinary people for the investigators as well as the clients; they're the most intriguing. This show is just bad acting and not scary and thought provoking at all. I end up watching some of it and then changing the channel due to boredom. I had high hopes for this...oh well.

The old guy who is supposed to be the actual "eyewitness" on tonight's episode is literally the worst actor I have ever seen. I wouldn't cast him in a community theater production as a tree.

Save actors for horror movies. Using them for true account retellings waters down the story for me. I'm not sure I've even finished an entire episode yet. As much as I enjoy the content, the way it's presented almost feels like an insult to the viewers intelligence.

It cheapens the whole show. You're presenting overly scripted actors as real witnesses. It's a really bad idea and it's not working. Please stop.
