A brilliant ending to a brilliant series. Twists and turns everywhere. The acting in this whole series has been unbelievable. Awards need to be won.

I just wanna say that's amazing I didn't expect that ending it was perfect the best ending of the show who would expect that murderer it was crazy.

Kate Winslet and Julianne Nicholson are sublime and prove once more they are magnificent actresses. THAT scene between the two is a powerful ode to women, to friendship, to fragile humanity in each of us.

This is such a gut-wrenching real emotions episode.

The dept we see in the characters, all the nuances presented in them speaks volumes to how real they feel. It's like our neighbors, family, friends are in there, bare naked in a story that could be known to us.

My parents had friends, a couple, we would have dinner and lunches families together, even spend holidays together at some point, and suddenly the husband suffered an attempted murder, he was shot more than once when arriving home, and few days later police arrested the wife because she and her lover planned the assassination.

I was a teenager at that time and couldn't grasp the idea of knowing her, of her smiling and joking with us at a Sunday lunch just 3 days before, like nothing, when she clearly had everything planned already and was even pregnant at the time without anyone knowing that too.

This episode made me think of how everybody can be flawed and human but also worthy of support and friendship.

One of the better season finales of this year. What starts out to be a depiction of tying loose ends to a finished story takes a strong turn as new events unravel. The finale provides us with closure as we finish this journey in the town of Easttown. Whether or not it also applies to Mare is up for interpretation.

Apart from the unexpected twist, the characters embark on new and hopeful journeys. Lore (Mare's close friend) carries the second half of the episode portraying great emotional range. The laudable trait of this show is it's patience to not rush the storyline. Even though it's only 7 episodes, the makers did a fantastic job in telling the story, from inception to closing.

This series is proof why HBO is one of the leading content producers. Great acting, visuals and storytelling.

When this episode started, everything seened to be sorted and the characters were given a sense of closure.

But it was only to unravel the main twist. I like good old fashioned last minute twists and I enjoyed it.

This show was slow yet gripping every sequence from the beginning.

Kate Winslet was very well set in the character,along great supporting cast.

Direction from Craig Zobel brought the intensity,and much more thrilling experience.

A great show overall ,left us wanting mire of the drama.
