M. G. Srinivas comes back with a comedy genre. Very daring director who tries variety, and differently. Kind of what we have seen in Sankar Nag. Old Monk movie is about how Narada muni (old monk :)) has to go through human emotions like being loved, hatred, have anger issues and also fun (and mostly fun). Its not stereotype romcom, more of com and less of rom. This film comes at right time, to lighten the mood of audience when they have gone through nightmares (thanks to pandemic)
The movie is well paced, no where you feel like seeing your smart phone or watch. Everyone has done justice to the role, be is MG Srinivas, Aditi, Sujay, Aruna and no need to mention about veterans S Narayan & Sihi Kahi Chandru. Sudev plays the role of antagonist (as per plot) but looks like more chocolate boy. That's the best part of the movie, need to watch to understand it :)
Music directors Vaibhav/Saurabh have done excellent job, yet again (remember Birbal??) - gitcha gili gili is wow!!
You will love the costumes of Sujay, who is big fan of Ranveer Singh :)
Overall its awesome movie, must watch and enjoy it on theaters. Don't wait for OTT release.
