A young mother loses her husband to a heart attack. She has a feisty teenage daughter and is a successful crime novelist, so what does she do?

Instead of throwing herself into her work she ends up at a retreat run by another widow. All those present are women save for a dude who does odd jobs. It sounds innocuous so far but the film actually starts with two females who have obviously been kidnapped being transported in a van.

Sadly, that's as good as it gets. The plot is, well, silly, and although there is some action as well as a resolution, most people would rather watch something either more thrilling or at the other end of the spectrum, edifying.

Interesting twist, bad writing, bad acting. Am I to believe the main character's daughter is 16,17? She looks like she is in her 20s. As a "thriller writer" the main character should know to not turn her back on people.
