Where to start with this one?
I was watching this with my daughter and after a couple of minutes thought "this is bad", it has half the quality of Disney/Nick shows from 10-20 years ago and double/triple the cliches, it was so bad I came to see who was behind it, just to discover it's actually a Nickelodeon show! (I was watching on Netflix).
I know they fired Dan Schneider obviously but he was there for so many years, nobody learned nothing from him? (I'm talking about the good parts).. I could probably do a top 30+ cliches this show has and to see people reviewing as one of the best from Nick in the last couple of years is just terrible.
Go watch reruns from Victorious, Henry Danger and Wizards of Waverly Place with your kids.

For better or worse, they love this show. There are some funny moments, a fair amount of questionable parenting, and the focus on original music is nice. The laugh track itself gives me some nostalgia to similar shows made in the 90s. It's a little tortured in places and the story line doesn't always make a lot of sense, but I think that's on brand for what the show is trying to be. I do hope they make a second season of this show, as I do think it has some great potential for future story lines given where season one ended. Also, a few of the songs are really catchy, whether I like it or not. Do I find myself singing "Cash for boots" under my breath from time to time? Yes. Yes I do.
I really wanted to like this. I love the actors already, Erin and Aaron's dynamic and growth is so promising, and the original music is so good! But everything else about this show... If it's not just bad writing, it's unoriginal. Everything moved way too fast in episode one alone. The best friend, the neighbor, and the little sister are annoying and uninspired and the parents are terrible at being parents. They never say no to their kids- that may be every kid's fantasy but it's just not entertaining.
I come from a blended family myself and i'd have loved to see that portrayed well for kids! But this show is seriously a let down
I hope it will get more seasons but i dont recommend it either. A concept like this deserves way better!

This show is fun for the whole family to watch-kids and adults! How rare is that?!?!?!
There arent many shows parents can watch with their school aged children that are good clean family fun these days but.....Erin & Aaron has sure delivered! This show is fun, wittty and keeps the entire family entertained. The music is great and catchy. Our kids love the songs and even request them on Spotify! We enjoy the music too, there are songs in almost every episode.
And little Natasha...that kid steal the show...what a great little actor. Every scene with the little sister in it is a winner, she is fantastic!
Our whole family really hopes that it gets renewed for a second season.
Kudos to the production team at Nickelodeon; great show all around from casting to final product!

When I started watching the first episode, I already saw that it was a copy of Drake and Josh, which is a series that I love. But I got interested, and kept watching. In the end, I realized that it wasn't 100% like Drake and Josh. But still, it's not a very good series.
It's a super cliché series, the classic family plot. Besides Natasha's character, it makes me SO ANGRY! It makes me want to punch her every time she appears. But, it has its positive points too. Unlike most Nick series, it doesn't have very random and meaningless things appearing out of nowhere. Like "Henry Danger". Even though the themes of the episodes are kind of random sometimes.
In the end, Erin & Aaron is a series that is neither good nor bad, it's somewhere in between.
