Isolation the Series

Steve Leeds has started something with the potential to develop a life beyond the Covid-19 lockdowns. Bringing actors together from across the globe to perform with others they never actually meet is genius. The diversity of talent is brilliantly exploited and displayed by Steve's amusing and well-spun story lines. The core characters are developing impressively as the series unfolds. I'm thrilled to have a modest part in this extremely promising and professionally crafted work.

Nothing worse than being stuck in the house day after day but Quarantine: The Series takes actors stuck in their homes all over the world to bring us a new show. Shot by actors in their homes, the show is then craftily edited to appear that these actors are actually interacting with each other while bringing us a delectable, entertaining plot. Looking in on the lives on a bunch of everyday British folk, the brilliance is that the show isn't about a quarantine but rather show those lives as if unaffected by what's really going on around us. A great show I highly recommend finding on YouTube.

A fantastic concept, bringing together a huge cast of talent of all ages from around the world. Clever scene writing and editing makes it appear that the characters are all interacting together, whilst being filmed individually following strict lockdown guidance.

In this global lockdown there are so many things to bring us down. I've watched this since it first came out. To see so many actors from around the world collaborating through the creativity of Steve Leeds and bringing fun, smiles and love is wonderful. Just gets better with every episode. Each actor learning new skills in poduction too! It's a show that just keeps on giving. (Why 9 and not 10 - Well nothing's perfect is it :) )
