I binge watched "Marriage of Inconvenience" and I'm already ready for a rewatch and another season!

If you want to know your tropes or themes, it's grumpy/sunshine, enemies to...?, and pretend marriage as part of the witness protection program (that's a new one) and a mystery to be solved.

Jason T. Gaffney's Owen is an affable, endearing mess as the foil to David Singletary's more buttoned up and refined Franklin. Although it's a broad mystery comedy, neither of these characters are jokes or stereotypes and have welcome layers and complexity. The supporting cast were also delightful.

The writing and pacing was tight and hilarious. I rewound a few parts to watch again and laughed out loud. Owen and Franklin's hideout looked like a kindergarten classroom and Pinterest board combined and threw up and I wanted to live there.

The slow burn of Franklin and Owen getting to know each other on a deeper level and care more for each other in the midst of solving a mystery and being in hiding was unique and enjoyable. I can't wait to see where the series goes and I'm anxiously awaiting and hoping for another season.

This series seems to have been "review bombed," as there are multiple low ratings without a review, perhaps because it is involving same-sex relationships and people still can't handle that today.

The series was surprising in that the two main characters actually seemed to interact well together and there were actually a lot of laughs and also more poignant moments, which is remarkable since it's only about 6 episodes of ~20 minutes each.

Basically, two gay men are put into witness protection, one from a stalker, and the other the reason is not necessarily clear (only alluded that he was involved in selling drugs for someone). They have to "fake" the relationship to the neighbors, etc.

If you want something funny that involves same sex relationships/characters, this fits the bill!

I really enjoyed watching it I mean it's too handsome men from different worlds not just in race but environment and backgrounds put together because of possible similar circumstances and at first they didn't like each other but as you watch it you can see that something is starting to click and yet they're both too scared to admit it to one another into themselves it's a common real life type of ordeal I mean there was even jealousy for two people who don't even really know each other now we did have some comedy in it which is really my thing along with action and horror I'm not really into drama but thid had my undivided attention I really want to see what happens next.

I have no idea how someone could think that this was a good idea. The premise is ridiculous. The acting is horrible (anytime Jason Gaffney is the best thing in anything, something is terribly wrong). I think someone wrote the script, but it's a shame that their mommy didn't ground them with keyboard before they did. I watched this,. And I've had root canal--I'll go with root canal in future.
