Life in a Day 2020

The second installment of 'Life in a Day' movie, first filmed in 2010, makes a 10 years leap and catches the world once again in its lenses, this time in the special conditions of the covid pandemic.

It's interesting to see how people thought this could unfold, how others are now after 10 years since the last movie and that the major concerns and joys of people around the world haven't changed.

"Life in a Day" seemed groundbreaking ten years ago, but now we live in a TikTok era less so. So there's nothing groundbreaking here even thopiugh it's Covid and Black Lives Matter time, but it is entertaining and heartwarming.

Perhaps an interesting approach on what a "life in a day" may look like around our vast planet (I do have my doubts), but animals are slaughtered without the slightest warning for the viewer. An absolute disgrace. This lack of empathy and of awareness almost made me faint, when a veal is shot twice in the head, remains alive, then has a knife plunged into the neck, with blood flooding everywhere. Artists may show the world the way they intend to and the freedom of art has almost no limit, but failing to warn viewers about highly disturbing images can be interpreted as an acute lack of empathy, especially now that the mechanisms of triggers are widely understood and studied. Perhaps this documentary is not aimed at more sensitive viewers. Loathed it.

I Filmed My Life in a Day on July 25, 2020. And I Remember waiting with Baited Breath If I was 1 of the Chosen to be in this 1, Since I couldn't Film My Life in a Day 2010, 1 I didn't know about the Filming, and 2 I didn't have a Camera to Film with until 2016. So Yeah This Review is about My experience with Director Kevin Macdonald, Well He's Clearly a Highlander. But Even though he didn't Choose My Vid, There's only So Much you can Fit in 90 Minutes of Film and TUBERS Across the Globe were Filming. And on February 5, 2021 I had Technical Difficulties That Lasted for Quite a While. Life in a Day 2020 gets My TM M for Moonbeam 87 Approved.

This is a nice collection of home videos collected across the world but the editing is poorly done and makes it feel like these videos were randomly put together. This movie would have made more sense if those videos actually told a story in a way but it they didn't.

I felt like I went to YouTube Shorts and watched a bunch of random short videos at the end of this movie.

What was the main story of this movie? What was its take home message? What were we expected to take from it? What did editors of this movie accomplished that couldn't be accomplished by watching a bunch of random short videos on Youtube?

I felt like this movie left a lot to be desired due to poor editing.
