Bigfoot the Monster Within

Needless to say that I had never heard about this 2022 movie titled "Bigfoot: The Monster Within" prior to sitting down to watch it.

But from the very first shot of the movie, you just know that you are in for a dung heap of a movie. This was phenomenally bad. In fact, it ranks among the top three of bad movies I have suffered through over the many, many years of watching movies.

And with "Bigfoot: The Monster Within" being a movie that was written, directed and starring the one and same guy, I have to say that I wasn't expecting much. And Geovanni Molina delivered nothing but rubbish on all accounts.

The storyline in the movie was simplistic, and it felt like a farce and a joke more than it felt like a proper serious movie. And the dialogue was as elegant as an enraged bull in a porcelain store.

The acting performances in the movie were wooden, rigid and laughable. Of course I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, though it was somewhat of a stretch calling them actors and actresses.

Visually, then you're in for a treat here. The effects in the movie were so bad that it was almost worth suffering through 56 minutes of this dumpster fire. The green screen scenes were terrible to look at, as they were so fake that even a recently deceased blind man would go "wow, seriously?".

My rating of writer and director Geovanni Molina's 2022 movie "Bigfoot: The Monster Within" lands on a one out of ten stars. How this movie has managed to land a 3.6 rating on IMDb, in this very moment of me reviewing it, is simply beyond my comprehension.

Geovanni Molina loves two things: Bigfoot and stock footage. And not necessarily in that order.

After writing a review for his first feature, a documentary made entirely of stock footage and narrated by ai, I was expecting this to be more of the same and was going to simply rearrange the paragraphs and post the same review as a comment on his filmmaking style, but ol Geovanni proved me wrong. He actually made a narrative fiction piece!

Ok well kind of. It's still largely made of stock footage and three actors against a lot of green screens. One of those actors is Geovanni.

To watch them interact with stock footage of people being counters at airports or see police officers dubbed to say things while the lips say other things is hilarious.

The plot involves two men and the son of one of them who go into the woods to find some gold a criminal buried. They find bigfoot instead.

To say more is pointless. This film is unintentional comedy gold akin to birdemic. If you liked that film, Bigfoot the Monster Within should be right up your alley.

Ok this was dumb,it's like a bunch of people with learning difficulties got together with one of thems dads cameras and though I know let's make a movie,you start watching and well it's not acting but goofing around and to be honest it's like you're on a bad acid trip,I only watched if because I love anything Bigfoot it's fascinating but this well just give your kids a video camera and tell them to go out and film something one things for sure they'll come back with something 10 times better than this crazy mess,how do movies like this ever make it on to Amazon prime? I feel like asking for my subscription back....truly awful.
