This was a great independent thriller! It kept me wondering what was going to happen next with the story and had some good twists. The actors did great portraying the characters and it was interesting to see how they all interacted together. I enjoyed how many of the scenes were filmed with unique camera angles, and how the camera panned across some of the scenes. They really did a great job making this movie on a small film budget and during the Covid pandemic. Congrats to Irv Becker, Johnny Alonso and the rest of the cast on this great film!! Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more of your films!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Harvey and recommend it to anyone that appreciates a delicious drama brought to life by a talented cast. The well-written storyline, the palpable tension, and the crisp, flowing action allow the actors to fully develop their complex characters. Darius Autry is superb as Harvey-a misunderstood, underappreciated young man whose reactions to his life situation tend to hide his heart of gold. Allison Meister is fantastic as a friendly coworker of Harvey's who gets dragged into a horrible predicament along with their boss, Keith, a role played with passion by Johnny Alonso. Andrew Rogers is memorable as Sheriff Davis, a generally mistrusting and cynical sort who's still reasonable and fair. Erin O'Brien as Karen is a delight. And what about Jack, played by Richard Cutting? He shares his hard-earned wisdom about life with Harvey, and I'm still not sure what the deal is with him. I might have to watch this film a few more times and see if I can figure him out. I could go on and list every cast member because they all did such good work. And the quality of the film shows that the behind-the-scenes folks know their craft. Harvey is a first-class film that's well worth watching.
I think filming during covid was pretty bad and expected this to be just an OK movie, while it is not million dollar big studio movie it is well put together great music, cool small town setting, cool cast while not huge names they did a great job. I was fortunate to get a ticket when they did a premier in Baltimore Maryland, I enjoyed it on the big screen, meeting some of the cast members who are really cool down to earth people, including the main character Harvey. I also later watched it at home and saw some little things I missed in the theater. The Keith character (Johnny Alonso) is from Maryland it is cool to see a fellow Marylander in movie. Be sure to check out the bands in the movie too good music, and some fellow Marylanders too.
Without throwing out a "Spoiler Alert" right off the bat... I'll just say this was a really cool movie. Set in a small town you get the vibe everyone knows everyone vibe. Easy to follow they keep your attention as you move through the story. You develop feels for the characters like you know them. The soundtrack was pretty badass. It all comes together very well to get the story across. I would love to see a part 2, to see what happens next. At the end of the movie it left me wanting more.
This story about a misanthropic employee at a suburbian bowling alley is a unique who dunnit and has a distinctive 80's feel. The cast is great especially the bowling alley regulars led by Irv Becker as Randy. This team has a project in the works called CHOP SHOP which should be on all of our "watch out for" future films. Check out Harvey. What a great ride.
