Frankly, I find some of the reviews of this movie astounding - bad reviews given based on the fact that the film is too disturbing?? Well, the reality of the matter is that some very very disturbing things do happen in life. There are people who choose to do some very evil things to others, for one reason or another. Shutting your eyes to such situations does not make them go away.

I have to admit that had I not seen some people do great evil and managed to come to terms with it after a long time of being very upset, I would not have managed to watch through this movie. It is indeed profoundly disturbing to watch for someone who has not witnessed people do some truly evil things intentionally. However, for those who have, this movie makes a lot of sense, and I personally found the ending very rewarding.

10/10 and highly recommended. But definitely not one to watch unless you are prepared to put in some serious thoughts into why evil exists in this world. So if its existence disturbs you - stay away.

This movie is one of the most awful movies i've seen this decade.

It's like a shitty poem by a teenager, one of those where the main character is looking longingly through a window for hours, as if the reason for it all, should somehow just fly by. The movie sells itself as a decent effort in trying to deal with one of the most disgusting taboos of mankind, but ends up being the offender itself, by insisting to never make the characters rounded in any way. The director should be very ashamed, apart from being a technically very ungifted director, he betrays the integrity of the victims of the real crime, which this movie is partly based on.

First I got to say this is one real messed up story line. This is very dark film. And there's a lot of great performances. But I'm sorry but I found myself hating the main protagonists through out most of this film. I get it's about this girl finally standing up herself and trying to save her sisters. And yes you do care for the sisters. But I feel like this movie lack of getting to the point is the problem. I mean what was even the point with the Nazi stuff. Like your just trying to add a Mount Rushmore of effed up tropes to add to a movie. The protagonist just seems to constantly not open her mouth at every opportunity she can. It gets annoying quick. I found myself not caring until the end. I don't know, there's definitely something good about this but over all just alright little dark film.

This a good film in the way it makes the viewer feel deep emotion for the characters, however, I would have rather not seen the movie. It is a very deep and difficult topic to handle for many, like myself.

The main character, Sara, goes back to her hometown in Denmark to see her brother after many years to find out things have not changed and some has turned to the worst. It is up to Sara to find her inner strength to defeat the demons that once haunted her in order to bring change to the present.

If you are looking for a light-hearted drama, this is not the film for you. This film deals with a lot of the unfortunate evil in the world. The way subjects are presented is very creative and the acting is incredible. The only problem is content, and that is up to you if you can handle it or not!
