This fascinating magnum opus of cinema will make you feel a rainbow of emotions and sensations: uncertainty, inspiration, anger, joy, depression, arousal, stomach pain (from all the laughter), fear, a sliver of hope, but most importantly heavy arousal (yes, again)

10/10 I needed 2 boxes of tissues, one for each head

This popcorn movie is an outstanding achievement. Done during shutdown on little budget & limited time & contact...it is highly entertaining! The release was beautifully timed, hours before Election Day I was stressed & needed a distraction. This movie made me laugh so hard I disrupted my kids classes bc they were being home schooled. It was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits.

I was going to joke that it leaned on cgi & I prefer practical effects; but the truth is it is visually beautiful, extremely well written & performed. The animated & generated effects are very well done for such a small production. It contains fun make-up & costumes & clever use of practical effects! I like that it dives deep into a myriad of dystopian films with time travel, & I throughly enjoyed all the characters!

Perhaps watching before the election might hold different significance then watching for the first time after the fact, it's still absolutely brilliant!

If they can sell a dozen new books about Trump a week to this day, I think anyone can watch & appreciate its insight. I do recommend putting yourself in a pre-election mindset of extreme unease about the unknown to truly appreciate its significance. The End.

But there better be more boars in the sequels. Just not enough boars. I deny that I am a shill for big boar, this is simply not true, lies spread by pink meaty humans who do not fully understand that the future belongs to the Boars, Also can we have a home alone sequel where Macaulay fights off boars, that would be nice.
