Fluxx

The movie was well directed, acted, edited and executed! I had so much fun watching it! I highly recommend this movie and I loved how many genres it played with. The cinematography was stunning. Shelly and Shiloh were SO GREAT! I loved the story too. Fun locations also. I want to go see it again in in theaters..it plays so well on the big screen. My favorite scene is the table scene. Shelly was amazing. The set design was incredible. I also liked the music. It went really well with the tone and made it even more exciting. I also liked the Halloween scenes. Very cool overall. I think the theme hit home and it felt original.

This movie has style and goes for it. Does it always stick the landing? No. But when it does, it really does! Shelley gave a great performance in multiple roles, and the rest of the cast was good as well. But what really sets this film apart is the visual style and twisty script. It keeps you guessing until the final frame. The first and the 3rd acts are the best. The middle section could have used a bit more work, but man does the ending hit! I love ballsy indie filmmaking like this. We need more like it. Even if you didn't enjoy the film, you have to at least admire the effort. But I certainly did!

The plot was all over little confusing, kind of boring so I was fell a sleep a few times watching it. The main actress was pretty good but the rest of it was really bad. Tyrese was only in it maybe like four scenes reminded me of black swan, but like very low rate and bad acting version, the end tied it together but it was still really bad, Took them five years to make this clearly shows it needed two more years too long of a production to be done good, The opening was kind of not introducing of the character groundhog day as well pipelines repeating the same thing just all-around bad movie, but the main actress was a good actress. Everybody else wasn't.

This movie is a blast. A classic mind bending adventure like Memento or Jacob's Ladder. Fantastic writing and directing by Brendan Gabriel Murphy. In just his 2nd feature, we see a master filmmaker at work. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next!

The cast is also incredible. Some fantastic hilarious scenes between Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead) and Shelly Henning. They chemistry is electric. The cinematography, by the director's Brilliant brother, is gorgeous and the whole movie just keep you guessing. It was a non-stop thrill ride from start to finish. Honestly, what more could you want from a movie??!

A must see for everyone.

Fluxx is a fun and wild psychological thriller journey led by an amazing and nuanced performance from lead Shelley Henning, who skillfully plays multiple and very distinctly different versions of herself, and the genre bending direction of award winning director, Brendan Gabriel Murphy. Sci-fi, horror, and a slew of other beloved film genres are brilliantly rolled into one, exciting cinematic experience...paired with an incredible team, in front and behind the camera, the Fluxx family pulls off a highly enjoyable film that should definitely be watched on the big silver screen as it was intended!
