Odd tactic to go about addressing situational confrontation in a relationship. The overall theme and idea behind it was good but the interactions were very interesting and I question how accurate it actually resembles an argument between an ex significant other because of a career and a calling. The whole scene made me feel in an interesting way involved in the story but I primarily felt awkward, some second hand embarrassment was in effect. I don't know what the goal of the film was, and was quite lost, specifically by the small clip watched but it did leave me intrigued by what the rest of the film holds to hopefully better understand what's in it. Didn't watch the whole film so I won't rate it.
I feel that the detective was rightfully anger at the female because she got in the way of his case. She shouldn't have showed up at his house expecting him not to be mad and making her leave. I'm not to sure of the whole case that she got involved with, she could have made the detective lose his job because of what she did. Although I believe that she deserved to grow and having the feeling that she does for him. Sometimes growing and learning about yourself takes mistakes to happen first. She needs to move on or give the detective time to heal from her betray of her being involved with the case.
The scenes were thought out, well, but felt very awkward with how the lines were delivered. There were too many instances where the actors would start out a scene with silence and take a moment to start speaking their lines. The scenes would go on, too long with these moments of silences. Some of the actors could've done better with how they moved. Sometimes the movement would look really stiff, and awkward. Not only can the actors' motions be awkward, but the camera shots could've had less empty space in the scenes. The scenes were also missing the importance of audio management. The voice lines can be hard to hear at times.
I found that the cop reacted in a way that makes some what of sense being that his girlfriend was a vigilante that he was chasing after. And also the fact that he is a cop and she is doing his job in an illegal way. Although he did handle this situation in a harsh way I can see why he reacted the way he did. I think that the reason he reacted in such a way was because he felt that his was betrayed by the woman he loved, he felt that he had been lied to for a long time. It also has a lot to do with the fact that she goes off killing bad guys and that is something that her boyfriend is trying to prevent.
The film was an interesting film. I feel like they were trying to get a specific point across like a lesson or message across but with the acting it didnt feel real because you could tell it was fake. I do not really have a complete understanding what the short film was about but i am also barely awake right now so I guess that makes sense. The only thing I got from this is that the man did seem really hurt and betrayed by the women character because she never told him who she was and what she did effected his own career but he also seemed like he was getting to know and care for this person but feels likes he doesnt even know her.

- AnecdotesBrianna May who plays Ruth, was originally cast as the D.A.. This, along with her political aspirations is the reason why her name was kept for the D.A. role, now played by Tabatha Spivey.
