Reviewers say 'Wolfs' is lauded for Brad Pitt and George Clooney's chemistry, making it a fun, light-hearted action-comedy. The film's humor and banter between the leads are highlights. However, the plot is criticized for being predictable and lacking depth, overly reliant on the stars' charisma. Action sequences are well-executed but not innovative, and supporting characters are underwritten. Despite these flaws, it's enjoyable for fans of the actors and those seeking casual entertainment.

Solid movie
"Wolfs" on Apple TV+ is an intriguing yet uneven experience. The film blends suspense and drama, offering a unique take on the genre with solid performances, especially from the lead actors. The cinematography is visually striking, capturing the moody and tense atmosphere that fits the tone of the story. However, the pacing feels off at times-certain scenes linger too long, while others feel rushed, leaving some plot points underdeveloped. The film's strengths lie in its character dynamics and emotional depth, but it doesn't fully deliver on its potential. Overall, it's an entertaining watch but falls just short of greatness. I'd give it a solid 7/10.
2 huge stars in a generic and not-very-memorable movie
Seeing George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunite in a movie was a genuine delight. They both play professional fixers forced to work together despite being lone wolves. Both of them continue to have wonderful chemistry, which leads to a relatively entertaining buddy cop sort of movie.
However, the story is very straightforward and has all the expected tropes in these types of stories. The comedy isn't laugh-out-loud funny but can give you a slight smile. When there are action scenes, in which there is very little off, it is serviceable at most.
It is a bit of a shame that with 2 huge stars, all they made was a generic and not-very-memorable movie. Nevertheless, it was still quite enjoyable to watch for a streaming movie.

Definitely bad
Two talented superstars wasted in this movie. They have such chemistry and yet the movie is boring, not very funny, not engaging. I expected a lot more. I couldn't wait till the end. Almost fell asleep. My wife really did.
We've seen George Clooney and Brad Pitt work their chemistry in the Ocean's 11, 12 and 13 trilogy and it was a delight. Here, I don't know if the problem is the script, the story, the direction or all of the above, but the movie fails to deliver. It could've been much more. Even Bullet train is way better than this one.
I give it a five because it is watchable, but definitely not recommend it.

This is a comedy
How is this marked a crime thriller?? Lol. Its a comedy. And its funny. Some of yall review stuff like you can interpret things deeper than the next person. This film is nothing spectacular, but its good, and its funny. Silly and not believable like most films, but effective. The dynamic between these two will always be something worth at least checking out in my opinion. The director has obviously done some funny with Tom Holland's Spiderman, but this reminded me almost of a Guy Richie film. I'm not going to say it's anywhere near a "Snatch" but i was shocked at how often I was laughing. I would recommend.
Two stars elevate the proceedings
Make no mistake, without one or both stars the movie most likely, would have been an endurance test. But they're stars for a reason and there never ending banter made us laugh or chuckle quite a bit. Engaging movie that never pretends to be more than it is. We weren't bored for one second watching the two guys give surprising and disapproving looks at one another throughout the movie. Ryan albeit the small role she has is also fun to watch. The kid while being a good actor is a stretch as any woman immediately wanting to bed such a scrawny looking guy, even a middle aged one. Don't look for a movie with some depth; just one that is fun and has engaging stars that are increasingly hard to find.

- AnecdotesWriter/director Jon Watts told Deadline in November 2024 that he refused to make a sequel after Apple abandoned plans to give Wolfs a wide theatrical release because he no longer trusted them as a creative partner. Watts said, "I showed Apple my final cut of Wolfs early this year. They were extremely enthusiastic about it and immediately commissioned me to start writing a sequel. But their last minute shift from a promised wide theatrical release to a streaming release was a total surprise and made without any explanation or discussion. I wasn't even told about it until less than a week before they announced it to the world. I was completely shocked and asked them to please not include the news that I was writing a sequel. They ignored my request and announced it in their press release anyway, seemingly to create a positive spin to their streaming pivot. And so I quietly returned the money they gave me for the sequel."
- GaffesEarly in the movie, George Clooney opens the backpack unicorn with a knife, leaving the stuffing hanging out. Near the end of the film, the unicorn is intact.
