Nix

No connections at all. Don't get to know the characters. Nix doesn't mean anything at all. Movie didn't make much sense. No chronological order. Some weird trippy parts. Acting horrible. Plot lines hard to follow. Nothing explained about the monster. GREAT MOVIE GUYS! I had a great time watching it. You should watch it just for the custom soundtrack at the end. They blew the whole budget on it. Nicks was lowkey kinda weird looking. I wish there was a backstory. Great concept but where was the skills to prove it. Let me remake it for you guys. I'll keep the soundtrack ;) (for the record, I will be hearing that song in my nightmares every night for 3 years)

I approached this with no real expectations, but the description intrigued me so thought I'd give it a chance. But after 40 minutes I had to give up. This is unusual for me, as I normal will battle through to the bitter end. But the story was going nowhere, the dialogue was stilted, and the plot was just nonsensical. Most of the acting was below par. The story leaps from the initial set up, to 20 years later, but with no warning, and it took me a while to work out what was going on and who was who, now they were grown up. It just proceeded to get more confusing and I completely lost the plot and gave up. Not recommended.

I'm guessing that the writer and director had visions of a haunting family drama, but missed the mark woefully. There's something to be said for giving your audience some credit for their ability to read the room. There's no such credit here, with every character's role over-played just to make sure the viewer gets the picture of family dysfunction. At least some small degree of subtlety would have helped, and given the audience the opportunity to wait in anticipation for more character revelations. But no, the characters are thrust in your face, along with the 'spooky' character whose lurking presence does little to instil a sense of dread. There's no room here for the viewer to relate to the characters- they are so painfully over-acted and clichéd that it's downright annoying. The premise itself isn't terrible, but it is so poorly executed that it becomes unbearable.

One of the worst plots for a film I've seen in a very verylong time, and I've seen a lot of bad films. At one point we thought it would actually make a good plot and tied up some loose ends..: then went OTT and nothing made sense again.

Started off below average, and within 20 minutes makes no sense at all. Basically no story line, bad acting and laughable rather than scary.

Watched through to the end but more to see what would actually happen as had already invested time and ended up watching like a comedy.

If you want to watch a film that looks like the first AI generated film, go for it. If it was executed better, with a better plot & better acting could have actually been an averagely good 'psychological' film, but unfortunately not.

The only reason this got 2 stars is because for some reason I watched to end. What a waste of 1.5 hours.

It was like watching a film generated by a very low quality AI, which has been drinking heavily. The story made no sense, the acting was terrible, the dialogue illogical and often irrelevant. At one point the film almost "accidentally" stumbled into something resembling a sensible plot... but then quickly reverts back to ludicrous bad horror movie cliches. Some of the character writing and acting is so bad, that this makes a better comedy than a horror movie. In which case if you are looking for some bewilderment and a few laughs I would recommend giving it a go. Even the ridiculous outro song gave me a chuckle.
