It is a shame that in the year 2022, this "thing" represents the Turkish cinema on Netflix...

I thought the movie was cute. It is filled with cliches but it basically calls out that's what it is doing from the beginning. The lead actress has a gift for comedy. There was one scene on a balloon that had me laughing so hard. The lead actor did a good job too and I thought they both had great report and chemistry together. It's a fun romantic popcorn movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I enjoyed it and will watch it again. I can't tell if some of the bad reviews are people who actually watched the movie or have it out for the actors playing. But I thought it definitely had it's fun moments.

Just another dizi, I was hoping that since it was a Netflix product, the quality would be better and I really wanted to like it, but no:-( The storyline is not original which would be fine if the film was well done but most scenes were just cliché scenes you will have already seen a lot in Turkish productions. Cool back and forth from one character to the other at the beginning but then every scene was just stuck one after the other too quickly to portray a quality story. It could really have been better with more investments and a bit of realism with the clothes as well. I get it that it's fun to have different designs but some looks were so over the top, it was unrealistic. Actors are gorgeous, no need for so much.

This is a Turkish romantic comedy very reminiscent of the American "How to loose a guy in Ten Days." Gorgeous backdrops in both Istanbul and Cappadocia, Turkey and two famously gorgeous leads. Demet Özdemir from Erkenci Kus fame is absolutely beautiful and does her role justice. Sometimes she can overact, but I think she managed to hit just the right balance in this film(with maybe the exception of the hot air balloon ride). Sükrü Öyyildiz, who I have loved since Nefese Nefese and Kis Günesi, is an amazing actor and I know this wasn't meant to be a serious film, but he was definitely under-utilized in this film. He is not only handsome but he can act!

Basic premise is that Demet's character is a fashion designer and social media guru for women under an anonymous account, Sükrü's character is a bit of a playboy ad executive. Both make bets with their circle of friends to make the next girl/boy fall in love with them and then they meet at an event. Then fate keeps throwing them together which leads to some misunderstandings.

I felt this was fairly fresh, especially for a Turkish romantic comedy. It spent more time alone with the couple than their friends and actually sold the relationship which I appreciated.

What could be better than watching two attractive people fall in love? If you said nothing...than this is the film for you, I highly recommend it.

This movie is well directed and well acted. It's also very fresh considering all of Turkish romcoms are either more comedy or drama. This takes American recipe and applies it with all of its clichés, and I mean ALL OF THEM.

But I don't mind clichés, they exist for a reason. This movie is cute and overwhelmingly lovey, and it's not a remake of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. They never actually try to lose the other person.

It's an enjoyable romantic comedy with a fun script and leads with an actual chemistry.
