The Texas Witch

As part of the cast and helping as a production assistant in this film, I was thrilled to see it released. This was a true labor of love and everyone should see this film. It combines the mysteries of Jacksonville Texas woods with a modern take on the strange things that happen when you are in the forest. It is the surprises that jump out at you that makes this a fun ride. It will keep you guessing the whole way through and it ends... well you will just have to watch to find out. Shout outs to the makeup crew who worked day and night to make sure that the realism was perfect. They were extremely patient with the cast as they applied their art

Finally!!! I've been waiting for this to be released and here it is!! I Wasn't sure what to expect at first but it was a good movie! Nothing crazy scary but definitely creepy and made you jump at times! The writing was great and watching the story play out was impressive. Being a Jacksonville native, it was Cool to see filming in such familiar places! Definitely a great movie to turn the lights down low and grab the popcorn and prepare for a haunted thriller. Dang it and in forgot to wear my Tshirt!!! Oh well.. Great job to everyone! I Wonder if there will be a part 2 in the future?!! Hmmmm ??!!

This movie was recommended by several online sources. They're wrong. The story has been done repeatedly. People go missing while camping, friends try to find them in the woods and...you know. The captioning was awful, too. Did anyone proofread this thing? Nope. At one point the dialog goes: "Piper! PIPER!" "*unintelligible*" "Get up!" "What are those?". What you read is: "Quaker. Quaker. Trauma. Gido. What? Ardo". Seriously. Terrible.

I sincerely hope no one associated with this movie is using their real names. I can't imagine anyone wants this joke on their resume.

The opening scene was absurd. Girl pole dances in the back of a pickup in the woods, because of course she does. She goes into the tent with Mohawk'd ZZ-Top wannabe 'roid boy, but no one zips the tent door closed, because there's no insects in the woods at night. He goes out to investigate what is obviously someone walking very loudly through thick brush and ground cover, not that there's any nearby, because when he walks around he doesn't make any noise. Girl steps out of the tent, gets shot through the back of the head with an arrow with a target point, and 'roid boy screams like a little girl.

Cut scene to obligatory cowboy hat wearing detectives discussing the disappearances that they can't investigate because guy in charge doesn't want to risk any more lives. 'Roid boy's sister shows up demand in answers but leaves after about one minute of learning the cops don't know anything. That's when I turned it off. Life is too short to waste on crap like this.

I am a friend of one of the directors and he suggested watching it.. For what it was and considering I know the director personally it wasn't half bad..it had a solid storyline..it was a typical b rated movie Super proud of my friend Andrew... this is a phenomenal achievement... It took a lot of hard work and dedication to make the film.. so for that and not alone I gave it a 10 out of 10 because I know exactly how hard each and every one of these individuals worked.. Can't wait to see what you guys do next in good old East Texas.. Maybe next time y'all can do something on the bone heal satanic cult.
