Anecdotes
The film was made through the University of California at Santa Barbara's "GreenScreen Environmental Media Program," funded in part by the Carsey-Wolf Center for Film, Television and New Media. GreenScreen's purpose is to produce student films that deal with local Santa Barbara environmental issues.

Gaffes
In the last scene after the pile of trash falls, the text of a background billboard is backwards in Teddy's close-up. It was animated with Teddy facing the wrong direction and had to be flipped around in post-production.
