This is one of the most beautiful masterpieces I've ever watched. I never ever cry on any series or movies, but this one shattered me. Loss is a very personal experience and grief changes everything, especially yourself. This series showed all the intricacies that happen with terminal illnesses, how brutal it is one the sufferer and their loved one.
I'm grateful for the creators and the actors for their beautifully well-done piece of work. The environment felt so gentle despite the hard hitting topic. I only recommend this if you're ready to finally face the losses and the grief you're going through yourself. If not, give it a bit of time as it's a brutal, yet gentle journey that'll force to inevitably face your own pain too.

Top performance from the cast, 10/10 in the acting department, allowing the audience to fully immerse in the heart-wrenching story of love, family and sacrifice.
This is a very high quality series. The casting, script and acting are awesome, especially Gingle Wang a GREAT actress. The cinematography and soundtrack are perfect. However, somehow I feel a little bit dragging with the scenes in the present time of the first two episodes. Maybe I have watched the 2018 film and couldn't wait to get to the Cream and K's story. But don't get me wrong, the series is much better than the film in all aspects.
This is one of the most touching story's I have seen, I cried literally every episode. I have watched it a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it..if you haven't watched it yet go for it!
Despite knowing what will be the end of this drama from the very start still you feel like this drama is pulling you like a magnet to watch it.
After finishing it I felt a weird kind of heaviness on my heart.
The story and execution is so perfect that you would not want to stop untill the end. The cinematography was so gentle despite the sad story. This is the beauty of Taiwanese drama. They put extra effort to palettes (they use warm colour tone which soothes your eyes), editing and long shots.o
The story is definitely about our main leads but 2 sub storylines has accompanied it and it connected so beautifully that when 1 plot changed to another plot you will start missing the previous plot.
I also loved how they used similar sets but with different angles, the way it was shot was very stunning as well.
Also you can easily differentiate between two timelines as well, as those has been edited amazingly smooth.
OST: All OSTs are pure love. All songs matched perfectly with the storylines. Songs are not any less sad than the story which makes them more soulful.
Lastly, this drama definitely deserves more viewers and praise. I hope I have able to convince you to watch this painful but beautiful piece of art.
