Tales of the Inexplicable

Overall, HIGHLY recommend. Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. There are some clunky parts that I wish had been redone. Mostly, the very first scene of the first "horror" story , because it was so staccato and badly timed that I almost x'ed out of the movie altogether; to the point where I'd picked up the remote and my thumb was on the button. That one clunky scene, it had all the markings of an annoying unintentionally bad horror movie. But do NOT stop there. I stayed with it, and i am SO glad that I did. That one scene is NOT an indication of the rest of the movie.

Because the overall movie intro was *so* strong (the part where the narrator begins the lead in to the anthology), and because the intro made it clear that the movie was meant to be a horror comedy of bad horror, I stayed and I am so glad I did.

Brilliant movie. Just brilliant. I mean, snort laugh, laugh out loud, loud guffaw funny. Okay, I don't really know about guffaws, but I probably did it during this movie bc there are hilarious horror choices. Writer made brilliant calls.

Conclusion: YES def watch! With the Caveat: If you get to the first scene of the first story and start to worry, wait it out. You won't regret it. It's just a clunky start, but the actress is great. Worth it worth it worth it!!
