The Creature Cases is another in Netflix's long line of preschool shows, and if you or your child are fans of Octonauts, you will like this.
The series focuses on Sam Snow, a snow leopard, and Kit Casey, a fox, who are agents for CLADE, the Covert League of Animal Detective Experts. This series chronicles the pair's missions, given by their boss, Director Scratch, cracking mysteries centered around animals and what happened.
This is a great series. Aside from Sam and Kit, the series has memorable characters like Bill and Jill, the Mice Squad who serve as the ones who find the missions for the duo, as well as at the end of each episode, have a segment called Fact File talking about an animal in said episode (which is like Octonauts' own Creature Report segment), and the Stinkwells, twin skunks who make the pair's gear (and serve as an occasional fart joke, which thankfully, is kept to one per appearance). The voice acting is well done, and the stories are full of action as well as comedy, making this a neat edutainment show for little ones.

My boys (5, 3 and almost 2) love this show! They laugh, learn facts and enjoy the stories.
I agree with another poster saying it's like octonauts. And we love that show too! And puffin rock.
The only thing that was confusing at first was the "Fact file" song at the end. I thought they were saying "Zack final" for the longest time and I couldn't understand what in the world it was supposed to be cause I knew I was hearing it wrong. 😂 now I can hear the " fact file" words, but it took looking it up to figure it out. I guess I have terrible hearing.
Anyways! It's a fun show for sure.

My 3 year old and 5 year old love it! It's really fun for both girls and boys. Even I catch myself watching it with the kids while doing chores. I really hope a second season is in the making!
My daughter is 2.5 and loves this show. I find the cases interesting and I really enjoy the bit at the end where they show the actual animal they ate investigating, I.e a giraffe, raccoon, etc. I am used to her watching nonstop singing shows like Cocomelon or Bebefin, so this is a very nice and welcomed change of pace. The episodes are about 30 mins I think, with 2-3 stories/cases per episode and I think that is great. She also loves bluey, but I am not a fan of the 10-12 minute long episodes personally.
I personally prefer this to Bluey, Blippi, Ms. Rachel, Cocomelon, bebefin, baby shark, etc.

This show was a great surprise! I didn't have huge expectations when my 4 year old asked to watch it. It's not a "baby talk-educational show". It has fun story lines, non patronizing script, but still pulls off being educational. The animation is bright and cheery. In fact it's another one of those shows that I'm sad when the kids *don't* ask to watch it.
My only regret is that it's such a new show that there aren't multiple seasons to binge.
Hope Netflix keeps this one going. Total win for my 2 and 4 year old and as a bonus for 35 year old me!

- AnecdotesDuring each closing sequence, one sees, for an instant, Bill and Jill with non-glamoury black sunglasses. That is during a sequence where they are putting on their silver reflective sunglasses to prepare for dance. In other words, they wear sunglasses under their sunglasses.
