The movie is an engaging and ethereal historical piece about times gone by. The characters are unforgettable and each scene if captured as a still are visually magnificent. From the stunning costumes, historically accurate sets and magical performance by Lady Bunny each scene is a visual masterpiece. The historic voices and news broadcasts are not so gentle reminders of the ugliness of the times which drastically conflicts with the optical beauty and love depicted in each scene. The car scene is iconic and absolutely tear jerking to say the least.

It leaves you pining for the life of the bar and wishing to visit in real life....but all good things must come to an end.
