In the 1980s, every single woman in the US knew a Doc Antle. He was the guy wearing an elaborate mystical stone necklace, a lion's mane of a mullet, and clothes inappropriate for any setting other than a Sedona vortex or a drum circle. He clearly didn't worry about employment, because Mommy and Daddy supplied him with extravagant living expenses, and the mullet supplied him with young women.
"Doc" Antle, like everyone involved in big cat rescue, has no qualifications for caring for the world's largest carnivores. He simply uses them the same way he uses young girls, and the only difference in him and a pimp is that a pimp protects his product. He just kills then when he is tired of them.
If the other spotlights in this series have made you say, "Gee, these people are crazy," Doc will make you say, "Gee, this guy is icky."
Enough, Netflix. Enough. Stop elevating these slimy people and giving them notoriety. Help the law go after them to protect the animals from these abusers. The novelty is gone, and now I am just sick to my stomach that they keep getting away with it.

A bunch of old ex's regreting their decisions of being with ths shady manipulative dude. And now that they are old and bitter they want to cancel him and have a moment in the spotlight. These women don't want to take responsibility for their decisions, always acting like victims. Cults don't make themselves they need weak people to be followers.
It blatantly tries to capitalize on the popularity of the original show but fails to replicate the recipe for its success. It is mostly interviews to people about stuff that happened between the 70s and 90s, it is not that interesting and it is bottom of the barrel journalism. We get it, most likely doc antle is a piece of crap for a plethora of reasons and he did many a-bad things but do we need to listen to him for 10 seconds and then have 20 minutes of emotional manipulation from witness that are talking for fame and a wad of bills? I dont think that is a great deal.
Important to mention the plot is not focused on the animals, it mostly focuses on doc antle's ex entourage, cults and sex.

I hate it. Knew this guy was a POS narcissist from the start. Child predator. Everyone featured on Tiger King is a terrible person, but there are a few that are the worst. Him being one of them. I don't care if it was the 70's and 80's. He still uses weak minded women who wanna be in a cult. Forcing them to be thin, while he's an old bloated man. Smh.
Tiger King was presented as a fun trashy mess with a whole cast of equally crazy characters.
Turns out, one of those characters abused, raped, groomed and pimped out teenage girls for literal decades.
Some of this footage was from the same interviews as the original series. There is no way the filmmakers were not aware of how dark and serious the situation here was. And they decided first to show us wacky Joe and his bizarre rivalry with a woman in Florida. I guess now that they needed a third series we can get around to exposing the actual crimes that took place?
Tiger King was supposed to be an exposure of a dirty industry, so it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that not only did they choose to ignore the blatant abuse in favor of a "better" story but also that now Netflix wants to milk all the money out of this franchise it's now a story worth telling.
